05/04/2026: After visiting La Mandria Castle, we walked to the inn. We hadn't booked, but luckily, a table for two was available outside under the awning, as the inside room was occupied for an event.
The staff was attentive, kind, and professional.
I had the pappardelle with game ragù: well-balanced and very good, with a textured pasta, just the way I like it. My wife chose a Fassona beef tartare for her second course, which I tried and was very good.
A note on the tartare: for greater precision, it would be helpful to indicate the weight in grams on the menu, so we could determine whether it's an appetizer or a main course; by eye, it didn't exceed 100 grams.
There were two house wines available: I chose a red (Barbera), and it was good.
For dessert, a Piedmontese bonet, delicious and enriched with crumbled amaretti biscuits.
All surrounded by greenery: it was a pleasant and relaxing lunch. If we're passing through, we'll definitely be back. PS: I recommend booking.
21/03/2026: Excellent food, fair prices, beautiful setting, and great attention to children (in fact, there are lots of them). What can I say... Let's just hope they keep it up.
