I read useless and obvious comments, fixed menu aside, which I also don't love, the Dogana Vegia turns out to be a unique place, a dive into the rural past and the history of the mountains, a museum! The owner Dario has a particular character, the service certainly isn't five star, but if you know how to take it it's also nice.. The cost of €70 may also be questionable, but not exaggerated and the place is worth it all. The food is excellent and plentiful. The venue has a unique and unparalleled charm with a romantic atmosphere. If you are not hungry and don't want or can't spend this amount, this is not the place for you.

The Best Restaurant in the World. For me it is not a simple restaurant but a real work of art. The food is perfect and cooked with love, the rooms are splendid in every detail, the people make you feel at home. I hate putting reviews but in this case it's worth it. There is no amount that this place is worth. A note placed next to the wines reads "it lasted six hours: it's as if it had been a minute, because life doesn't last longer". Dunque… il posto è sempre magico e favoloso come 20 anni fa… forse l emozione di essere tornato ed averlo ritrovato identico mi ha fatto un po’ perdere lucidità nell’ ordinazione . I piatti sempre uguali ma sempre molto buoni sono stati graditi ed abbondanti…. Mi è mancato il pizzzochero , ma ci tornerò per il giudizio definitivo. Prezzo abbastanza alto ma in linea con altri ristoranti molto meno particolari….

Discovered by chance in Madesimo as no other restaurant had space, Dogana Vegia turned out to be a surprise. Excellent experience, very good food linked to the area, also the truly pleasant and particular atmosphere, Dario and Gigi with their service make you feel at home. Super recommended, excellent rib dish with Barolo.

03/04/2025: En Tirano durante 2 días y se topó con este restaurante, ya que parecía ocupado, así que debe ser bueno. Encontramos que todos los lugares para comer y beber en la ciudad no estaban todos juntos, sino repartidos. El personal era amable mientras nos sentábamos a pedir nuestra comida y bebida. Tenía raviolis a 14€ , mi pareja tenía lasaña a 13€ , agua a 4€ y vino blanco a 9€ así que buenos precios y la comida era muy agradable.
01/01/2025: No estaba muy ocupado cuando vine a comer, así que eso puede haber ayudado a tener un servicio rápido y amable. La pizza quattre carni era buena relación calidad-precio y buen gusto.

02/01/2025: Mi reco spesso in questo locale x il pranzo e mi sono trovata sempre bene oggi però è stato deludente. Da menu lepre in salmi e Polenta...sostituito con stinco e patate. i secondi da menù arrosto al forno con patate..sostituito con salsiccia. E Mozzarella al sugo di pomodoro sostituito da tomino al forno...mangiato solo i primi risotto buono e pizzoccheri Mi chiedo come è possibile che alle 13 sia già tt finito e comunque non ci siano proposte alternative simili a quelle mancanti e finite . Mi accade spesso ultimamente di trovarmi in questa situazione cosa che in precedenza non accadeva. Trovo anche strano che ci siano dei primi fuori menù che abbiamo lo stesso costo ma non possano essere abbinati ai secondi x formare il menu completo.
