I went there several times with my wife and two children from 1990 to 1995, and it was our favorite restaurant. The food was excellent, and the owner was a bit unusual but very friendly. Then the children grew up, and we moved on to another vacation destination. We went again, with my wife, in 2003 or 2004, and the old owner wasn't there, but a young lady welcomed and served us, and we regretted not asking for the old owner...

15/07/2025: Cibo ottimo, soprattutto la polenta taragnaaaaa. Ci sono anche dei giochi per i bambini, gli asinelli,escursioni e poltrone per prendere il ☀️
10/03/2025: Posto fantastico da andarci in estate sul lago di Livigno, cibo squisito e personale gentilissimo. Super consigliato nel periodo estivo in quanto in Primavera, Autunno e Inverno è chiuso.

03/07/2025: We loved our time at Grand Hotel Della Posta. We had 3 nights and added a 4th night. The location was amazing, the staff was efficient and courteous and the amenities were lovely. If we return to the area we will stay there again.
06/05/2025: We spent a night with family and dog in tow. I'll start by offering my compliments because not all facilities of this level accept dogs. Private parking (for a fee) with free electric car charging available. Beautiful and very spacious superior room overlooking Piazza Garibaldi and a glimpse of the Alps. We had dinner in the hotel and needless to say that we were super satisfied; they also cooked pasta for our little girl. Very rich and varied breakfast, there is something for all tastes. I would say that 5 stars are too few. Thanks to all the staff!!
