Doc 32 In Cesena

One of my favorite places. Always great food, excellent wines, and the people who work there are enthusiastic about making it.

The atmosphere is lovely. We dined at the outdoor tables, enjoying the view of Cesena's city center and the attentive, friendly service. The portions may be a bit small, but we were satisfied with the dishes we chose. The spaghetti alla Nerano, for example, was a pleasant surprise in its simplicity. The octopus was also well-made. However, the pappa al pomodoro lacked that extra something that the other dishes offered. The menu changes regularly, so we'll be back to try other dishes!

A well-kept restaurant with friendly staff. Unfortunately, I found the selection rather limited; mostly tapas, only two starters and no main courses. This was for lunch. The food was decent. After asking for the dessert menu and waiting over 30 minutes (despite the dining room not being full), we decided to pay and leave.

Found by chance during a bike ride to visit Cesena, this restaurant immediately wins you over with its welcoming atmosphere and attention to detail. The menu offers refined and tasty dishes. I had lunch there and the food was truly delicious, with fast service and super friendly staff: a pleasant experience in every way.

Let's start with the reason you MUST come: the cheeses! An amazing selection of cheeses that's hard to find elsewhere, chosen with obsessive care and without commercial compromises. A 10 isn't enough here, so we're giving it a thumbs up. The rest of the menu is short, as it should be when you're looking for consistent quality. The pappa al pomodoro and spaghetti alla Nerano are superb, even the simple salami dish is superior. Then there's the carefully crafted wine list, never falling into the trap of being overly well-known because that only serves to sell. The service is friendly, as you'd expect from an osteria, but with an extra touch of attention that wins you over. In Cesena, I'd say it's number one.

A delightful little place run by people who love what they do and share their passion. The menu is short but varied, and the quality is excellent: try the spaghetti alla Nerano. They pay special attention to the selection of cheeses, including international ones, which is exquisite.

Ambiente soft, arredato con gusto. Buonissimi piatti preparati con materie prime di altissima qualità. Personale gentilissimo e disponibile.

Ero già stata in questo locale, ma nella vecchia location. Sono tornata dopo più di un anno per pranzo. Atmosfera incantevole, locale semplice ma con tutte le accortezze che si possono desiderare. Osti e camerieri alla mano ed educati nel servizio! I piatti che abbiamo provato erano davvero eccezionali, sono stati una coccola, carciofi talmente buoni che li abbiamo riordinati una seconda volta! Conto decisamente corretto rispetto alla qualità e alla lavorazione dei prodotti utilizzati. Torneremo prestissimo.
