Do Spaghi In Chioggia

Delicious food, nice service. Unfortunately, there is no menu in English, but this was not an obstacle. Their pizzas and pastas were also very tasty. Among the desserts we tasted, there are 3 types of tiramisu: plain, pistachio and nutella. We were not disappointed in any of them. We can only recommend the place. 🙂 After 2022, we are now back in 2024, the food is still delicious, the service is nice. We drove for 40 minutes to eat something delicious again. 🤩

It's a bit hidden but it's definitely worth the trip. Very fine brushes and excellent pasta carbonara. At the children's request, they even varied the coverings on the pins a bit. Went to Do Spaghi and ate the fantastic Cacio e Pepe pasta in a pecorino loaf, as we've always wanted to do something like that. The pasta was perfect and the wheel of cheese was huge! 50€ is also extremely fair for the portion size!

A simple place and if you are looking for a place near the seafront, but just outside the chaos, this is where you need to go! As a Roman who lives in Chioggia I was moved to find carbonara, cacio e pepe and above all gricia on the menu. Is it like going to Ariccia? Certainly not but the commitment of the Do Spaghi staff in finding the specific raw materials of the Lazio region and preparing the dishes following the original recipes should be recognized and praised. Besides the first courses which are a passion of mine, I can recommend everything. The appetizers including fried foods, burgers, meats and pinsas are worthy of applause. As I don't drink alcohol I can't comment, but I've heard satisfied second-hand opinions about the beers. Definitely worth returning.

The quality of the raw materials is not in question but I really didn't like the hamburger with both the bread and the burnt meat (not very healthy among other things). The attentive and kind service. The prices are definitely too expensive for the somewhat spartan environment.
