29/08/2023: Pranzo per il compleanno di mia moglie. Location molto affasciante per la vista dalla terrazza. Menù particolare, vario e molto curato. Menzione speciale per il piccione e per i dolci se devo scegliere; ottimi tutti. Buona selezione dei vini locali e non. Prezzo allineato con la qualità che il ristorante offre anche per la cordialità e professionalità del personale.

26/08/2023: Unforgettable location overlooking the prosecco vineyards of Valdobbiadene. There is a spa and a small pool here as well as the wonderful restaurant. The service was very good with helpful suggestions. We all went for it on the food front with antipasti, primo's and secondo's. Highlights were the Duck appetiser, the raw Sicilian prawns with pantanella, and the tomato and straciatella risotto, but best was the delicious guineafowl pasta with snail and frogleg sauce! We squeezed in either lamb or roast rabbit as the main courses but they were not quite as fabulous as the two other courses. We drank an interesting Bisol to start with which was very dry and refreshing followed by the house Cartizze which was more fruity. The ladies had desserts whilst the men had another glass of Cartizze. Coffees to follow and the bill came to 70 euros a head. Absolutely top notch experience and strongly recommend a visit to Cison di Valmarino afterwards with its magnificent Castel Brando Hotel high on the hill above. What a wonderful part of the world.
