Takeout pizzeria, but they also have a few tables. The pizza chefs are very friendly. The Neapolitan-style pizza is very good.

Very good pizza, excellent quality ingredients. I'm giving it 4 stars because we found the dough a bit chewy, but the seasonal pizza I had was truly phenomenal; the chestnuts gave it that extra touch. Satisfied

We had four different pizzas and all of them tasted amazing. It was all on time (we picked up the order), the vibe inside the kitchen seemed great and everyone was friendly.

The pizzeria is quite typical of the Italian style; the specialties are superbly balanced and take into account the exact cooking time and method. I've seen the pizzaiolos very attentive to the process, cleaning the oven when necessary, waiting for the pizza to position it correctly, and monitoring the temperature. The result is a well-made pizza with a wood-fired flavor that could almost char the pizza if left unattended for a little longer. Definitely recommended, especially over those touristy pizzerias that are everywhere, crowded with slices for 18 euros.

30/12/2025: Although it's been a couple of years since I visited, I just had to leave a review. Looking for somewhere to eat after arriving at our accommodation from the airport, we stumbled upon this bar. We ordered a sandwich with baked zucchini and other delicious ingredients, which was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. To drink, I ordered a Negroni and my wife an Aperol Spritz. We absolutely loved both drinks. The atmosphere is very pleasant, and we even met someone from the area. Every time we went (almost every night), we bumped into him and chatted. We're planning to return to Florence, and of course, we'll be back to this bar!

Osteria Caffe del Popolano

09/11/2025: Welcoming place and staff. For appetizers, we had fried polenta with chicken livers and tartare. Followed by two first courses: gnocchi with mushrooms and wild herbs and pasta with white ragù. Everything was delicious and excellent value!
29/10/2025: I'm back! And I'll be back! Excellent food and a welcoming family atmosphere.
