Authentic, friendly, passionate about food, and great service - what a team! We were recommended this by our food-mad hotelier, and she did us proud! Proper Roman cuisine, prepared with love and attention, in a cosy and relaxed environment. Couldn't recommend it highly enough. I shall remember the agnello all cacciatora as long as I live! Although we weren't in Rome for many nights, we made sure we went twice, to ensure we tried more of the menu - and we weren't disappointed.

Ditta Trinchetti is a very nice place in the heart of Rome, but the experience was not entirely positive: unfortunately the prices are really disproportionate for the quality offered in the dishes. There was nothing bad or badly cooked, but paying €16 for an amatriciana and €3 for coffee really seems crazy to me. And then many, too many tourists, which always makes you think.

This is the best food I have ever had in my life. I’m obviously from the U.S. and never eat good food but this is the best restaurant in Roma. Best customer service, great price, and overall amazing food. If you ask any locals, they can all stand by my review. They made my trip to Rome worth the stay.

We received a suggestion to try Ditta Trinchetti by a local that was not affiliated with the restaurant. First of all it was a very warm and cozy environment, walking past the kitchen to our table we could see the Chef at work. As a restaurant owner myself back in the USA, it was nice to get a glimpse into a professional Italian kitchen. Everyone was on their game and executed perfectly for our party. Our server couldn't have been more gracious and accommodating. Food was fantastic as well as the wine chosen by our server. Everything looked so good that our party of 6 had to share so we could enjoy all the wonderful dishes we had. Ditto Trinchetti topped off our last night in Rome! Thank you for the fantastic meals and wonderful service. Fino alla prossima volta! ❤️
