A very special gourmet restaurant lost amidst tourist traps. Very unusual menu, though reasonably priced. Ordinarily service, pleasant Scandinavian-inspired ambience.

A typical Roman inn with a very characteristic interior and very helpful staff. Reading the many reviews, my expectations were already high, and both the food and the hospitality did not disappoint. The only flaws, in my opinion, are two: first, the lack of a wide menu selection; second, the price, too high for the location and everything else. I have nothing to complain about, but in my opinion, the price should also be in line with the rest of the setting and not just with the quality of the product.

Small restaurant with amazing food.
Came with my daughter for lunch and we were surprised by an amazing pasta. The pomodoro sauce was one of the best we ever had and trust me, we love good food and we cook really well.

This place was authentic and amazing. If you’re looking for something authentic around here, Ditta Trinchetti is worth a stop.
What I ate -
• Grilled pecorino with honey, walnuts and truffle is a must-try, perfectly balanced and rich.
• Strozzapreti amatriciana is packed with chunky bacon and bold flavor. Looks small but it was hearty.
• Their bread has the perfect mix of char and chew—you’ll want every bite.
• Staff are friendly, fast, and make you feel welcome.
It’s a place that stands out from all the usual menus nearby. You won’t regret choosing it.
