Very good and attentive service, the girl who served us was very friendly. The food was exquisite. We ordered the truffle pasta and the swordfish off the menu, both very good, especially the pasta. The Bobo salad was excellent. Great value.

After about 4 days in Rome and eating twice a day in restaurants, we finally found a place that is not famous on TikTok or Instagram, not promoted on Google to create queues, but a truly authentic Italian place, with excellent service, good wines and most importantly, amazing food, no pizzas at all. The atmosphere of the Trastevere neighborhood is outstanding and the restaurant is located in one of the main alleys, but it was very pleasant to sit on the street. I ordered a white wine from the Sicilian region on the recommendation of the cute waiter. A light and wonderful wine. For a starter, we ordered eggplant with fried cheese which was wonderful. We ordered 2 pasta dishes that were made to the exact size and had the exact flavors. The pasta carbonara was one of the best I've eaten in Italy and my wife ordered tomato pasta with excellent pecorino cheese. For dessert, we had the best tiramisu we've eaten in Rome and panna cotta with a twist of delicate lemon touches on top. It was an amazing evening.

We visited on the last evening of July and were greeted with such courtesy and professionalism, along with delicious dishes. I recommend the chicory meatballs, eggplant meatballs, and carbonara. All this was enlivened by the cheerful chants of the many young people gathered in the streets of Rome for the Jubilee of Youth.

Lunch with my partner and my 9-year-old daughter. Small but truly unique place. Beautiful with fantastic details. Welcoming. Cool and friendly staff. Top-notch Roman cuisine. Antipasti, Grigia, and Carbonara... what the heck am I even telling you? We had a drink with various types of gin. Dessert and coffee. We'll definitely be back when we return to Rome.

Authentic, friendly, passionate about food, and great service - what a team! We were recommended this by our food-mad hotelier, and she did us proud! Proper Roman cuisine, prepared with love and attention, in a cosy and relaxed environment. Couldn't recommend it highly enough. I shall remember the agnello all cacciatora as long as I live! Although we weren't in Rome for many nights, we made sure we went twice, to ensure we tried more of the menu - and we weren't disappointed.

Cada vez que lo visitamos, caminamos más lejos, comprobando lentamente sus tesoros de una lista que ningún humano podría vivir lo suficiente para conquistar. Y, al igual que muchos viajeros, solemos ceder, comiendo donde y cuando sea necesario un descanso, sabiendo que las probabilidades de tal apuesta son sólidas, ya que incluso la mediocridad culinaria en esta ciudad golpea muy por encima de cualquier así - llamada "buena" cocina americana que tenemos que elegir en casa. Ditta Trinchetti, por otro lado, es uno de mis no negociables; un viaje a Roma no está completo sin él. Mis planes están hechos *alrededor* de este restaurante. El ambiente es perfecto; es acogedor sin pretensiones, animado con gran música, ni tranquila ni fuerte, y en su corazón hay una cocina que refleja las tradiciones de los nonni - reimaginado por los jóvenes. Y está claro que fueron muy atentos al aprender de los maestros. Los entrantes son inteligentes y deliciosos, los fiori di zucca maravillosos, las primicias de pasta son consistentemente spot - on; todavía tengo que tener una carbonara mejor en cualquier lugar. Y el agnello y otros especiales representan verdadera habilidad culinaria, no familiaridad a través de la repetición. La carta de vinos está bien pensada e interesante, sin dejar de ser muy tierna. Y en cuanto a Dolci, saltarselo sería un acto francamente insensato de autonegación. Si suena como una carta de amor, lo es; este es mi restaurante favorito en el planeta. Si la comida de Roma es el árbol antiguo, Ditta Trinchetti es ese brillante destello de nuevo crecimiento verde al final de sus ramas.
