Excellent little restaurant with a select menu, fine wines, and genuinely friendly staff. We enjoyed our food and were really happy to have evaded the tourist traps of which there are so many in Trastevere....

I loved everything: the super creamy cacio e pepe, the strozzapreti with porcini mushrooms and sausage, too. The only thing I found in the carbonara was the egg that was a little overcooked (that's why I gave it 4 stars). But everything was good, with quality ingredients and a very friendly staff.

This was our favorite place to eat in Rome! So good we came back twice on our trip. Have no idea what they do to their noodles but they are to die for!

A tiny restaurant with incredible food and top-notch waiters and waitresses! We loved the house specialties, which included delicious pasta and lamb. While crowds of people wait in line at more popular restaurants, there are places like this one that are top-notch for enjoying the food and the people!

My husband and I stumbled upon this place our first night in Italy. If we could give it more than 5 stars we would! Everyone is absolutely amazing here and the food is indescribable. We have gone to several other restaurants and they all pale in comparison. If you want amazing food, and to meet wonderful people, you must go to Ditta Trinchetti

Spectacular, was recommended to us. Only restaurant in Rome that wasn’t cat calling you to come in. Mostly locals that came after 8:45 PM. Our waitress was the sweetest. One of best meals on the trip.

That's Amore

14/10/2025: Stopped in walking back from seeing the Trevi Fountain. We lucked out that a table opened up at that moment, the place was packed. The service was friendly and efficient. We loved our pizzas and pasta but didn't care for the signature cocktails (should've gotten the wine!). Recommend stopping in if you're in the area!
13/10/2025: Amazing place! Delicious food. They have gluten-free options. I had the mushroom risotto, and it was perfect!
