In Piazza del Popolo in Ascoli Piceno, right in the heart of the city. A beautiful square, papal in style, with a statue of Paul III, when Catholicism was beautiful, serious, austere, and tough, and never let anyone make fun of it. Four drinks, one sandwich shared between four, chips, Ascoli olives, and delicious green olives. €7 each (there were four of us). In Venice, for €7 you can get a nice glass of fresh air and go home. Absurd.

Delicious dinner. The stew was tender and flavorful, the pasta with porcini mushrooms and guanciale was delicious, and the mixed fried dishes were exceptional. Highly recommended.

On a trip to Ascoli Piceno we had lunch with a delicious appetizer based on olives and a fabulous pasta dish, a super good dessert and to finish they offered us their local liqueur.top

Cena del sabato sera tra amici, nella media. Proposta ridotta ma curata, fritti molto buoni, così come i primi, hamburger nella norma, forse un pochino anonimi nel gusto. Consiglio come dolce il "lingotto" ed i cornetti alla nutella (proposti come dolce del giorno, se dovessero esserci). Servizio buono e qualità prezzo nella norma.

Siamo nella centralissima città del travertino, all’interno tipicità ascolane tra cui prodotti di produzione propria e cucina marchigiana. Non manca accenni di pescato, buona la carta dei vini.
