We had dinner there last night, without having read the reviews.
A simple menu. Nothing special.
We ordered pasta...mine was lukewarm and they had to send it back to the kitchen...but they microwaved it for 30 seconds and it didn't even heat up. Oh well...I'll eat it lukewarm. Ironically, the bread was warm 💕. Even though the place wasn't full, we had to ask for it because they didn't bring it to the table. A dinner with nothing to recommend it.
I wouldn't go back to a place where your food arrives cold.

A restaurant in the square in Ascoli Piceno... despite the young owner's efforts, we waited a long time and ate fairly ordinary food. One small peculiarity: when we asked for tagliatelle with ragù, since both ragù and tagliatelle were on the menu, the waiter said it was an inadvisable combination and brought us trofie instead. For people from Romagna like us, it was a real blow to the heart. The friendliness and effort to be on point deserve recognition, but we could do better.
