If you’re looking for early Italian dine in place, that is central and serves good food, this is it. I came with two friends who just landed in Rome and didn’t eat anything the whole day. The place is elegant and classy, might feel a bit uptight. Menu options were just right, giving a blend of Italian flavors with more traditional Roman dishes. Food wise is good, they inform you about the flavors and provide suggestions. Tartare was en point. We shared everything and had an overall good experience.

The place has a lovely collection of wines, however, I did not enjoy our visit. The food is average (not Michelin guide level, in my opinion), the atmosphere is cold and tables are too close to each other, so you literally hear your neighbors :/ On top of that we got a bill with extra glasses of wine which we did not order. It was quickly fixed, but given the overall non-welcoming service experience, that situation just became a cherry on top of a bitter cake. If the place is reading my review, these are my 2 cents: I really think you can work on the atmosphere. The chandelier in the center is beautiful, but it is too bright - the ambiance can only win from dimmed lighting. Please also reconsider the “hear-your-neighbor” situation – there is no fun in constantly getting distracted by conversations of people around you.

Excellent food; the charcuterie and cheese sharing platter was high quality and the portion was large enough for two. The pasta carbonara was also excellent. They gave very good advice on wine selection, which is extensive. The service was very good. A little more expensive than other restaurants, but the quality was definitely there.

Not a miss, the service was great and the food met expectations. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, and the atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant. The dishes were well prepared and flavorful, exactly what we were hoping for. Overall, a solid dining experience that delivers on what it promises.

Solid food but a bit expensive! Happened to come the night of a tour so was quite loud but excellent service and wine!

We stumbled upon this little gem. We feasted on cold cuts, cheeses, veal, grilled artichokes, and cherry tomatoes, all accompanied by a dry Sicilian wine. And what can I say about the attentive service? Thank you for a delightful evening!
