It's a bit outside the city center, but definitely go and enjoy the (rooftop) bar.

Loved the different places around the lake..sirmione/Malcesine/ limone/ lazise/ peschiera..really beautiful.. strangely we weren't impressed with the food which I was surprised about as we have been to numerous parts of Italy and always really enjoyed it..but it was disappointing around Garda for us ..
