Historic bar and beach in the heart of Desenzano, along with the adjacent Desenzanino pizzeria. The only flaw (and always has been) is the cleanliness of the bathrooms.

A good place to swim and sunbathe. End of the season which made the selection limited when we went to buy food. The toilets were terrible though.

Excellent spot to go with family and or friends, staff are polite and welcoming and the atmosphere is delightful. Highly recommend for swimming or sunbathing or just to relax and have a coffee and something to eat.

Umbrellas and loungers can be booked online; upon your arrival, you'll find them ready with the reservation sheet on the table. They're quite far apart. Access to the lake isn't great; rock shoes are recommended. There's a bar with ice cream, various drinks, and a few sandwiches, but the staff occasionally gets lost. There are bathrooms, changing rooms, and showers, but anyone can use them, even people who go to the nearby public beaches, so after a while they're impassable. Some people have found their umbrellas illegally occupied, and I saw a family who tried to plant their umbrellas among those of the beach club. There are two paid parking lots nearby... €12 all day, and you can get food or drinks on foot along the Desenzano lakeside.

We really enjoyed our time at this beach! It wasn’t too crowded, even on a Sunday, and we managed to get two sunbeds, a table, and an umbrella for just €25 – a great deal in our opinion (see attached price list). There are toilets available, though we didn’t use them, and a bar/snack bar on site. The food was OK, nothing special, but it filled a gap and the prices were reasonable. We had a vegan burger €5.50 and I also had a sangria. The burger tasted good, though it didn’t come with any sauce despite the menu stating it would, and there weren’t any condiments available either. The sangria was smaller than expected for €4, but still enjoyable. I'd recommend wearing swim shoes or sandals as it’s quite rocky when entering the water. Overall, it was a fun, cheap, and pleasant experience 😊
