Why am I giving it three stars? The food is excellent, beautifully presented, but the portions are outrageous and the price is disproportionate to the quantity. Honestly? I felt ripped off. Also, I paid a whopping €3 for 75cl of water, presumably tap water because it arrived in an unmarked bottle. But even if it were filtered, that wouldn't be justified. Bottled water should be served sealed! Everything was beautiful and delicious, everyone was friendly, but frankly, I wasn't satisfied.

Nestled in a corner of great beauty and tranquility, between the Ticino River and the mainland, lies the Piazzetta di Tornavento. The refined cuisine features unusual pairings that complement every dish on the menu perfectly. This is my second visit to this restaurant; I waited to review it to get a more complete assessment (having tasted several dishes). I recommend it to everyone; the staff is attentive and friendly. Compliments to the chef and staff. Veal fillet with red wine reduction, perfectly cooked.

18/09/2025: We went for a pizza, lovely place, very competent and fast staff attentive to the customer. Good pizzas and very, very excellent raw materials.
27/08/2025: I had dinner here on a Saturday evening. I found the atmosphere beautiful, especially the outdoor seating. The menu is small (which I always appreciate) and well-prepared. I found the quality of the ingredients to be very good. Dishes were beautifully presented and flavorful. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money! The cocktails were also very good...to start! A must-try place near Lake Varese!
