Good food. Portion sizes depend on the dishes ordered. Good and pleasant service. Nice terrace.

My partner and I had the pleasure of using the restaurant during our stay at the Grande Albergo, and they were always able to promptly accommodate our requests. The prices are excellent, and the quality of the dishes stands out, both in terms of ingredients and presentation. Special mention goes to the extremely courteous, knowledgeable, and attentive wait staff. I highly recommend trying their menu, which offers a variety of local dishes at great prices. The meat counter is always well-stocked and offers new options daily, as well as a "simple" but excellent pizza. We can't wait to return, but it's a shame we can only give it five stars.

An airy table, impeccable service on a white tablecloth, more than friendly staff, and a little fresh breeze in the middle of July complete a wonderful moment around simple but oh-so-well-prepared dishes. Succulent and very fresh tuna tartare, perfectly adjusted (seasoning). Exceptional homemade tiramisu!

The Boss and I rolled into Sestri Levante around six after a nine hour train debacle from Rome. We checked into the hotel and went hunting for sustenance. What do you know, we found the restaurant attached to the hotel awaiting our arrival, so we took the bait. We were seated promptly and courteously, outside, under a tent at a lovely garden table, relaxing and cool in the shade with the sweet sounds of the ocean in the background. The boss took an Aperol Spritz and I, ahem, a beer. I’m not a wine guy! After a quick perusal of the menu, the Boss decided on the sword fish with vegetables and I the Lemon Taglierini with seafood sauce. We were presented first with breads and olive oil, fresh delicious breads and sweet extra virgin olive oil, I could have drank from the bottle, while Italian sparrows cavorted at our feet. The dishes came in such a short time we had only sampled the breads. Needless to say the dishes were fresh and flavorful, the sword fish was tender, cooked to perfection and the seafood sauce was loaded with whole muscles, octopus, squid, lobster and crab, I could have gorged myself had the Boss not been present to reel me in. We finished off our meal with a cappuccino for the Boss and an espresso for myself. Rich, full bodied coffee, to put hair on one’s chest, or remove it…. The check was presented and we were pleasantly surprised at the affordable meal we had just enjoyed. The service was top notch, unpretentious and helpful. The food was out of this world delicious, this will be the standards for the rest of Sestri Levante to match or beat.
