Degusto In Galati mamertino

Excellent experience, visited during the holiday week but it's a shame that in September it's not always open, I would have gladly returned.

We ate dinner at this restaurant by chance. We were in Galati and were looking for a place to eat pizza. It was a busy evening, but they managed to find us a table and allow us to dine in peace. The pizza is excellent, and the staff is very friendly, helpful, and pleasant, especially the father and daughter who run the place. The ambiance, with its elegant decor, contributes to a truly pleasant atmosphere. Another strong point is definitely the price, which is incredibly affordable for the quality offered. A place I recommend!

Degusto: Nebrodi flavors and sincere hospitality From Capo d'Orlando, we moved to Galati Mamertino in search of a cool spot for a truly successful dinner at Degusto. In a true village atmosphere. But the added value is the owner: attentive, passionate, and always ready to explain the dishes and offer kind advice. The service and kitchen staff are impeccable: smiles, timely service, and carefully prepared, piping-hot dishes. What we liked • Local ingredients showcased without frills. • Rich and varied appetizers: Nebrodi cured meats and cheeses, prosciutto rolls with a creamy center, eggplant/onion caponata with tomato and basil, dry and crispy fried foods (arancini mignon, croquettes, breaded eggplant). • Perfect frying: golden and light, as seen in the photos. • Attention to detail: clean plating, fresh herbs, generous portions. • Service: Quick but never rushed, attentive to requests at the table. • Very good value for money. In summary Degusto is a must-try in Galati Mamertino: local cuisine, expert cooking, and a welcome that makes you feel at home. Kudos to the owner and the entire team for their passion, professionalism, and customer service. Rating: 5/5 – Highly recommended. We'll gladly return to try the house first and second courses!

Excellent pizza, nice atmosphere, the only thing that should be added is lamps against mosquitoes and moths.

The treatment I received during dinner was truly excellent. The owner proved to be very kind and professional. The service staff, although very young, made us feel pleasantly at ease. The dishes on the menu deserve special mention: never predictable, with pairings worthy of a high-end restaurant, all served in an elegant but not formal atmosphere. The mushroom timbale on fondue with truffle shavings was a delight. Everything else... excellent, as was the wine, even though it was the house wine. This is a true delight, undoubtedly deserving of five stars. Thank you, Pino!

In the area there are very few places that can compete in terms of quality of raw materials, quantity, service and price.

We found ourselves in this pizzeria by chance as the one we were going to was full, the service was friendly and kind and always with a smile, the pizzas were fantastic, prices were average, we will return tomorrow

I dined at De Gusto on April 19, 2025, with my family. We each had an appetizer and a main course. The appetizer, rich and varied, allowed us to try their arancina, fine cured meats, vegetable meatballs, and various well-prepared vegetables. The main course was a surprise; the gnocchetti pazzi are worth a try. The pairing of gorgonzola and red fruits is perfect and surprising. If we had to find fault, the addition of a red fruit reduction might have helped maintain the dish's balance even after the red fruits were gone. The involtini were excellent and beautifully presented. The caponata and chicory were well-made and evidently made with excellent fresh vegetables.
