The best place to enjoy an excellent meal in an idyllic setting, far from the crowds! Authenticity, exceptional service. We drive 2 hours and 20 minutes from Pizzo every time, just to eat at this restaurant. 👌👌👌👌

As vegetarians, we enjoyed a rich appetizer of cheeses and vegetables, a pasta dish with eggplant and mushrooms, and the pepper-filled lestopitta. But the real added value was the incredibly friendly, warm, and hospitable waiter, who told my husband he looked like Luca Argentero—the same thing I told him when I first met him!

A charming and simple restaurant serving Calabrian cuisine. We had an excellent meal here. Highly recommended.

A rustic restaurant not far from the beautiful square. The menu is rich in traditional dishes, all strictly meat-based. We ordered a house antipasto: frittatas, battered vegetables, a few local cured meats and cheeses, borlotti beans, caponata, bruschetta... For the first course, fresh pasta with pork sauce was not bad. I tried the eggplant meatballs and to finish, a slice of bergamot tart... Decent value for money.

Ristorante veramente buono a conduzione famigliare. È’ stata una esperienza molto piacevole perché il cibo era sicuramente in linea con le nostre aspettative, alte, di una cucina saporita e con piatti della piena tradizione calabrese. Il proprietario è stato molto gentile trovandoci una sistemazione per 4 persone fuori dal locale grazie ad un tavolo riparato normalmente utilizzato per aperitivi. Li abbiamo poi trovato altre 3 persone siciliane ed allora il tavolo è diventato anche un momento ulteriormente conviviale tipo la Vecchia Bettola di Firenze. Lo consiglio vivamente

Pranzo impeccabile ma soprattutto inaspettatamente offerto dai vicini milanesi! Non appena arrivati al locale, oggi 2 Giugno, ci hanno fatto accomodare nei tavoli fuori. Vista mozzafiato e alberi di ciliegio da cornice ad un pranzo eccellente. Antipasti misti a volontà, carne di capra e salsiccia gustosissime e verdure di stagione freschissime (finocchietto selvatico). Dulcis in fundo tiramisù al bergamotto e digestivo alla cinque essenze. Dopo aver ordinato, incuriositi dai vicini di tavolo, abbiamo iniziato a parlare del più o del meno elogiando la Calabria, le pietanze e la nostra Sicilia. Non appena i vicini sono andati via, il simpaticissimo proprietario del locale ci ha comunicato del gesto di straordinaria generosità fatto dai vicini milanesi!! Cinque stelle a loro e a tutta questa giornata trascorsa tra Bova e Pentedattilo! Grazie mille ancora
