The meat was sublime, the owners were incredibly friendly and engaging...they laughed and toasted with us like old friends...empathic from the first word. Congratulations also, and especially, for the variety of beers and the crunchy crust that accompanied the first, and not the last, beer. I highly recommend it.

Excellent food, from the scrocchiarella to the dessert, including a fantastic fillet of young beef, best served rare. All this is topped off with excellent service and the friendliness of the couple who run the place.

Everything is good, but the service is even better. Barbara is a delight, doing everything she could to make us understand each other. She gave us gluten-free options and helped us choose. A 10/10. We found ourselves enjoying a summer aperitivo. The staff was very friendly and helpful with food and drink recommendations. We had a beer, two proseccos, and a non-alcoholic strawberry cocktail with lemon granita. We recommend going there to enjoy the pleasant atmosphere of Piazza San Giovanni.

Beneath the splendid Cathedral of San Giovanni, lies the Decanter, a charming, well-kept venue with a strong personality. The staff are friendly and empathetic (Beppe and Barbara are wonderful and true professionals in the field). They were able to recommend the perfect cocktail for my tastes. Highly recommended.
