Beautiful scenic view at the top. You can see such a lovely skyline of Rome. Went on a perfect blue sky day and spent an hr looking at all the buildings.

What can I say...a splendid view of Rome...to be done on foot with the help of a beautiful day....quiet and full of ideas of cult areas of the eternal city.

Janiculum Hill (Gianicolo) is a really nice spot if you want to see Rome from above. It’s a bit of a walk uphill, but once you get there the view over the city is beautiful and definitely worth it. It also feels much calmer than many other places in Rome, so it’s a nice break from the busy streets. There are benches around where you can sit for a while and just enjoy the view. It’s a lovely place to stop for a moment, take some photos and simply appreciate the city from a different perspective. Definitely worth adding to your walk if you’re exploring that part of Rome.
