Dea mangiona In Cetara

We were fortunate enough to sit at one of the tables at the traditional Dea Mangiona restaurant in the center of Cetara. A little gem run by a cheerful, smiling, hospitable, and kind owner couple. It's an experience that feels like home; the owners have an admirable way of making everyone feel at ease. At the owner's suggestion, we ordered the "mille facce di alice," an appetizer that captures the aromas and flavors of beautiful Cetara, represented even more symbolically by the spaghetti with anchovy sauce. We were amazed by the owner's welcome and the explanations of the dishes, and equally amazed by her husband's preparations. We won't forget this place and will definitely return! Highly recommended. We had an exceptional dinner here with our family, truly a hidden gem. The setting is small and intimate, with just a few tables, which adds to the charm. We started with crostini topped with cheese, lemon, and anchovies, followed by grilled anchovies and melanzane alla parmigiana as appetizers. The melanzane in particular was outstanding: soft, savoury, and creamy; quite possibly the best I’ve ever had. The seared tuna with sesame was another highlight: ultra-fresh, delicately prepared, and melt-in-your-mouth tender. We loved every moment. A genuine recommendation.

Tourists and locals alike, I highly recommend this little spot in the heart of Cetara. Quality food and a friendly atmosphere are the order of the day. Congratulations, we'll be back!

An intimate and welcoming atmosphere in the center of Cetara, just steps from the sea. The staff is truly friendly, and the menu features all anchovy-based dishes, each one more delicious than the last. The price is more than fair for the quality of the food and what we ate. Highly recommended.

Un piccolo Ristorante molto Carino ,Situato nel centro di Cetara . Piatti e alici buonissime ,i proprietari sono molto dolci e gentili . Dopo mangiato di fronte c'è una spiaggia dove ci si può rilassare e guardare il mare Cosa vuoi di più ? Vale la pena aspettare un po' 👊

Per gli amanti delle Alici è una tappa da non mancare ! Semplice, rustico e con piatti dagli ingredienti accuratamente selezionati e studiati per garantire qualità. Alici in tutte le forme, spaghetti con la colatura e scialatielli con le alici fresche tra i buoni che abbiamo mai mangiato! Gentilissima e accogliente la signora (credo proprietaria) che serviva i tavoli! L’attesa del tavolo (non prendono prenotazioni) ne vale VERAMENTE la pena !
