Excellent, very spacious venue. Excellent food. The fact that the venue was full is a sign of appreciation and good quality. Perhaps the only flaw is that it was very busy and it was difficult to talk.

A pleasant surprise on the way back from a winter trip: it was the only place open near the highway. The pizza with gorgonzola and salami or spicy was very good, the dough pleasantly thin and crispy, different from the soggy ones you often find around. In any case, it was very large, almost too big to fit on the plate. I wasn't particularly keen on the burgers, especially considering the dairy tradition of this province, and finding cheddar almost everywhere left me a bit disappointed.

Osteria al Bianchi

06/03/2026: One of my favorite downtown osterias. It's a bit crowded and noisy these days, but it's still welcoming. The malfatti are excellent. Among the main courses, the snails, tartare, and beef in olive oil are delicious.
