like being at home traditional Vicenza restaurant family management trained and kind staff typical Vicenza menu... good choice of starters... the bite is excellent mother's first courses...don't miss the bigogoli with arna...the ancient maccheroncini pasticciato...and the onion soup...and then move on to the bacala'alla Vicentina...perfect, the rabbit in the pan... and the grilled meat... the boiled meats trolley is recommended in winter.. it's always better to book recommended place..Alessandra is a guarantee

Lunch with work colleagues, pampered by the service staff who deserve credit for having illustrated and presented the various dishes in a very attractive way, putting everyone at ease. The dishes we tried lived up to expectations, the grilled meat is highly recommended, in this case the sliced ​​beef, exceptionally tender and tasty. Old school ambience, older crowd, and a relaxing Vibe. The food was seasoned perfectly and the waitress checked in on us from time to time. If you are looking for an upscale vibe, this is the place to visit.

I found the place on the internet and my experience was good, the place is typical for the type of cuisine, the staff has always been kind and professional, the food is really of excellent quality and typical of the area but lacks sweets, that is, a lot there is little choice. Regarding the price, I was attracted by the various photos in the reviews but to date they have all increased and quite a bit.

12/01/2025: 3.5 STARS FOOD: fairly good quality of ingredients. For appetizer: radicchio flan with good taleggio cheese. Bigoli with duck ragù quite good. Decent choice of wines. Good desserts. SERVICE: very kind and professional, good girls. ENVIRONMENT: characteristic place with a welcoming and warm atmosphere. Toilets could be improved. Overall recommended.
01/01/2025: During a trip we came across this restaurant by chance and, despite the slightly late arrival time, we were welcomed with great kindness and helpfulness. Right from the entrance, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff immediately made us feel at home. The dishes were simply delicious: typical local traditional recipes, prepared with fresh, quality ingredients.

05/12/2024: Have you ever had lunch at church? No? Now you have the opportunity to do this. Joke. The tavern is actually located in the building of a former church, but that’s not what we’re talking about here. If you want to try typical dishes of local cuisine, this is the place for you. I advise you to try the appetizers, depending on the season, you will be served baccala cod pate on a bed of hominy, local grilled radicchio, sliced ​​homemade sausages and more. For main courses, I recommend trying potato dumplings with porcini mushrooms and truffle, pasta with wild boar ragout and, for example, meat on a skewer for the main course. I apologize for the lack of photos, I didn’t have time to click.
