Very sweet restaurant and sweet owner Rosanna. Their pasta is completely natural, handmade. We ate the classic eggplant and tuna with pistachio plates. The perfect place to taste a real local flavor.

We ordered the mixed antipasto plate and pasta allá norma. The pasta had incredible flavour and was absolutely delicious. The service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

Very good "homemade" pasta (it was the first time I ate this type in my life), a very nice gentleman (probably the owner). I definitely recommend it, even if it's not outstanding.

Genuine and traditional cuisine. If you want to eat something typical of Catania it is the ideal place. What makes the place special is the love that the cook puts into every preparation of the dishes. Coffee included!

Trattoria tipica con ancora i sapori “veri” siciliani. Ci è stata consigliata dalla ragazza che gestisce il nostro b&b e non ha sbagliato, cibo pazzesco, pasta fatta in casa buonissima e dolci top. Inoltre ci siamo sentiti coccolati e a casa, la consiglio vivamente!!!

Al Blu Tunnel

31/03/2025: We were staying at a nearby hotel. We enjoyed our visit to the restaurant the first night and for that we went again. Very disappointed the second time: Catania salad with red tomatoes, we were served with greens, the tomato pasta was without any spices. Only the pizza was good. They must know we are tourists and won't be visiting again…
23/03/2025: I went to Blu Tunnel twice. I preferred to try different dishes before writing a review. I was pleasantly surprised by the first experience, I can only confirm the quality of the place, after yesterday's dinner. The dining room staff is very friendly and attentive to every need (despite the large turnout, they always managed to ask us if we liked the dinner). The icing on the cake is Chef Giuseppe, who delighted me with a carbonara worthy of Roman tradition. The meat second courses and pizzas are excellent. Obviously a third experience is necessary. Thank you Giuseppe, thank you Blu Tunnel. See you soon.

01/01/2025: Food is certainly the undisputed protagonist of the place, the care in choosing the raw materials (organic) and the attention to detail in the preparation make this streetfood a true excellence! The location is characterized by an immediate perception of familiarity... it feels like it has always been there... The friendliness of the owner (I think Tiziana) gives the guest some moments of pleasant conviviality even if you go to eat alone... Highly recommended!
