Food was very tasty and fairly priced but very small portions. Also, many options listed on the menu were not available. Service was exceptionally SLOW (1h 30min to get from from ordering. Would NOT recommend if you are hungry!!!

I recommend trying the pasta alla Norma; you can skip the rest. The prices aren't that affordable for a trattoria. The service isn't bad, but it's not outstanding either.

Hidden Champ Restaurant - Don't let the quiet atmosphere fool you! This charming Sicilian family-run restaurant is a true gem. While they may not always have everything on the menu available, what they do serve is exceptional. Their vegan pasta options are fantastic - the pasta pomodoro and norma are absolutely incredible. The prices are remarkably reasonable for such high-quality pasta, especially considering it's located right around the corner from much pricier hipster establishments. The family who runs it is genuinely lovely, and despite the relaxed, uncrowded setting, the food quality is outstanding. Definitely recommended for anyone looking for authentic, delicious pasta without the fancy restaurant markup!

Recommendation! A must visit, very friendly atmosphere with fresh, very local food. Outside rather simple, well, inside cozy. Fresh, very tasty food, great value for money. Nice evening, drank well, ate well, 55 euros. Toilet very clean.

Very sweet restaurant and sweet owner Rosanna. Their pasta is completely natural, handmade. We ate the classic eggplant and tuna with pistachio plates. The perfect place to taste a real local flavor.

We ordered the mixed antipasto plate and pasta allá norma. The pasta had incredible flavour and was absolutely delicious. The service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

21/09/2025: We went to dinner at this restaurant on Saturday evening and unfortunately witnessed a truly unpleasant scene. A customer, with an arrogant attitude, got up from the table carrying his plates and violently bumped into the waiter, who was kindly trying to help him avoid injury. Despite the waiter's politeness and helpfulness, the customer continued to raise his voice and maintain aggressive behavior. Immediately afterward, he began yelling at the kitchen, complaining that a dish was late, using harsh, inappropriate language and tone. We also waited, but with patience and respect for the workers. Delays can happen, but they don't justify such shameful behavior. In the end, the owner, with great professionalism, decided not to charge the bill to that table. And they left as if nothing had happened. A scene that left us truly saddened. Respect comes first. Anyone who behaves like this is worthless.

26/02/2025: Locale particolare nel cuore di Catania. Si possono gustare particolarità della cucina catanese come arancini in vari gusti, pizze, primi piatti sfiziosi e secondi di carne. Personale gentilissimo e disponibile. Ottimo per un pasto veloce o per una cena tra amici.
30/12/2024: Bellissima scoperta. Tutto molto buono e di qualità. Tagliere salumi e formaggi di prima scelta, idem pasta. Purtroppo nei secondi non avevano quello scelto da menù ,ciò non menzionato la carenza di questa portata e stessa cosa per il vino scelto, accontentati da un altro per consiglio del personale, che non era proprio del tutto similare. Comunque nel complesso trovato bene e ritorneremo. Peccato spazi un po strettini Nonostante sia in centro non è il classico locale "acchiappa turisti" ma di qualità e che si differenzia davvero molto. Molto molto Bravi.
