D'Avalos In Troia

We had lunch at Osteria del D'Avalos last week, but we come here often when we're in the area. It's an excellent restaurant: excellent traditional dishes (the appetizers are delicious!), very friendly staff, and a very welcoming place.

Last night the pizza was top top top. There were 17 of us and we all enjoyed every last crumb of pizza🍕. Great Francesco in the kitchen

Despite the lack of seating, the owner did everything he could to accommodate us, and we were fortunate. We had the opportunity to eat exceptional pizzas, the likes of which we've rarely had in our lives. Soft dough, generous toppings, and above all, perfectly cooked. Our complete satisfaction and gratitude go to the owner and his staff for their professionalism and the quality of their products. I highly recommend this place.

The host serves traditional dishes, revisited traditional ones, and delicious ones. You're truly spoiled for choice. The entree is a very welcome one, a surprising finger food.

For what we ate, the prices were excessively high. Wine prices were not displayed.

Excellent pizzas, family atmosphere... We'll be back as soon as possible.

I returned after 20 years, the quality is still the same, better as always, the best pizza in Troia. I highly recommend it.

A warm welcome awaits you at this family-run restaurant. Fast and welcoming service, traditional dishes (with some interesting updates), and excellent wines recommended by the sommelier. Prices are slightly higher than average but absolutely in line with the quality. We were very pleased, especially with the highly popular off-menu "land oyster," which won us over and we recommend (reservation required). The bread strips and house-made bread are also excellent (pizza is only available at dinner). The meal ended beautifully with the typical "passionata," a dessert reminiscent of a small cassatina (another pleasant surprise, given that the pastry shop that makes them is closed in the early afternoon). A recommended place for anyone passing through Troia who wants to return home with a fond memory of the local delicacies.

Excellent dinner at a family-run pizzeria. The pizza is definitely worth a stop, especially the pizza omelette with mozzarella and tomato. We'll be back.
