A super enjoyable evening at Darsena 21! The place has a relaxed but refined atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a drink with a spectacular view of Lake Iseo. The sunset seen from there is pure magic 🌅. The cocktails are really well made, original and served with attention to detail. You can see that there is passion behind the counter! The background music is spot on, never invasive, but creates the right vibe for those who want to chat or start the evening in style. An ideal place for an aperitif with friends or a more romantic evening. I will definitely be back!

This place is incredible! Their terrace with the view over Iseo lake is beautiful and with the relaxing music and lovely staff this was just the best place to enjoy a perfect dinner at sunset. We missed our last train and asked the owner if he knew of any taxi services in the area. He immediately offered to bring us home in his car, which we can’t thank him enough for!! I would definitely recommend to visit Darsena21 and when we come back to Iseo, we’ll definitely spend another night there!

The restaurant's location is truly enchanting, perfect for those looking for a pleasant and suggestive environment. Unfortunately, however, the service did not live up to expectations. Even the food, despite the careful presentation, did not satisfy either in quality or flavor. I was hoping for something more, especially considering the context.

Fascinating place, very beautiful landscape. The prices for drinks are good; unfortunately the tapas are a little expensive. It is certainly a beautiful place for a light aperitif

Lovely place close to the lake. We were there for an aperitif at sunset: wonderful experience. I highly recommend it, also for the kindness of the staff and the excellent products. Until next time

We were here on two different occasions, one evening for a cocktail: two truly excellent gin and tonics. For dinner on another occasion, we had two dishes, one based on lake fish, good execution but perhaps due to personal tastes it didn't excite me, one and another based on meat, good and well made in its simplicity. Very pleasant atmosphere, very well kept and welcoming place, beautiful view of the lake and the pier.

Directly overlooking the lake, I was there for an aperitif but you can also have dinner. There are few tables outside, so you have to wait a little to get a seat, but it's worth it!!!!!!!!

Very cheerful and welcoming restaurant, excellent service, attentive and knowledgeable staff. We had a very good time, the food was exceptional, all without distinction. I would recommend it without hesitation. The prices!!!..., what can I say, we had a nice Easter lunch, they are justified, a good quality ratio. Congratulations to all.

18/06/2025: We've been coming here for years. It's always a highlight in Sirmione. The first time was at least 10 years ago. The food is absolutely delicious: calzone, spaghetti, schnitzel... everything is fantastic!
10/06/2025: Please note that as soon as you sit down here to eat something, you will be charged €3.50 per person under the guise of ‘our service, some bread and your cutlery etc.’. It is stated somewhere on one of the menus, but if you read it over like I did, you will end up paying €14 extra for 4 people…. I had not paid attention to this so I was quite shocked, I also thought the bill was already high for what you got, so having to pay so much more means that I will not be coming back because the food was not so amazingly good that it was worth it to me. The pizza was a nice size; the dough was tasty, but already limp when served. There was enough topping on it, but the cheese was like chewing gum and not to be cut through and therefore tasted terrible, the pizza lacks flavour (call it herbs, garlic or something). The grilled Lake Garda fish with a single potato and a tablespoon of vegetables was okay and fine in terms of flavour. But the portion was a bit minimalistic. The service was friendly. When I asked for some clarification about the higher bill, they didn't really want to and it was eventually passed on to someone else. I don't like these amounts that are just made up by a restaurant; many restaurants here in Italy seem to do that, but the amount per restaurant varies quite a bit and €3.5 is therefore relatively high... it is useful to know this in advance.

14/06/2025: After two years I returned for the 4th time and I must say that more or less the situation has remained the same as two years ago: high prices, long waiting times, friendly staff and a nice and welcoming environment. The only reason that pushed me to return is that, having signed up for the loyalty program, on your birthday Checchi offers dessert and a hot drink. I took some pancakes with Nutella, which I didn't particularly like (they are not pancakes, it is sponge cake, which by the way are cooked in the oven, which lengthened the waiting time by 30 minutes). And a TRUFFLE TAMAGO SANDO, which I found pleasant. _______ Previous review 2023: I would like to point out that this is the third time I have been to Checchi and I have always had a good time. For this reason I chose it to return. The waiters were kind and friendly as always. The place is always very nice and welcoming. Unfortunately, compared to the previous times, the prices have risen significantly (in addition, the drink was previously included in the brunch menu). I therefore expected that the quality of the products would also have increased, which unfortunately did not seem to be the case. The savoury dish was very good, but the same cannot be said for the dessert. I took the pancakes, which were more reminiscent of a sponge cake than a pancake, and I paid for the addition of Nutella thinking that it would be served hot on top of the pancakes (as it has always been and as is normally done) but this time it was served separately, making it more inconvenient to consume.
07/06/2025: Very nice place, quality coffee and food. Attentive service, thank you for everything.
