Like a Sunday family lunch: large tables where everyone eats together, with lots of new people to meet or simply to share bread, olive oil, or water with. Delicious meat, a discovery to be savored at every cut. The staff is exceptional, but Cecchini is even better!

An exceptional celebration of beef! Your host, Dario, delivers entertainment along with his skill and passion for a well cooked meal from start to finish. The set menu lunch is an experience a foodie should experience at least once in their lifetime. Definitely worth the out of the way trip to his hometown. TIP: Parking lot is on the left before you get into the city and had a back door entrance into the restaurant. No parking on the street or close to the front of the restaurant.

Not just a dinner, but a true experience. Laughing and joking around the table and enjoying good food is just what you need. The menu was spot on and the staff was truly lovely. We'll do it again.

Simply fantastic! Everyone should try an experience like this! The conviviality, the fun, and everything, from appetizers to dessert, was top notch! For the first time, at a table of more than 20 people, young and old, many of whom didn't know each other, everyone was chatting happily and no one was looking at their phones... something very rare these days!! Congratulations to the legendary Cecchini!

Eating here is like a journey; you know it'll be an experience that will stay with you, for better or worse. The convivial lunch format is like Russian roulette: I assign you a seat, and you never know who'll be sitting next to you. I was incredibly lucky and ended up next to three lovely people with whom I shared an excellent tasting menu, filled with laughter, jokes, and real-life stories. Lunch begins with an aperitif in the butcher's shop with red wine and bread and Chianti butter, and you arrive at lunch already melted. The meat and service were impeccable, given the number of people in the team. Everything ran smoothly, and the quality of the meat was also very high. It will remain a wonderful memory.

Today I went to Antica Macelleria Cecchini, and what I experienced was much more than just lunch: it was an experience, a journey through flavors and a genuine passion for meat. We showed up at 12:00 sharp, as recommended, because when the restaurant opens, there's a wonderful welcome speech that immediately makes you feel part of something special. It's a heart-warming moment that prepares you for what's to come. Once you enter and take a seat, the simply fantastic service begins. The menu is a fixed price (€50 per person), which I find absolutely appropriate for the quality and the experience. On the table, you'll find oil, condiments, and fresh vegetables to enjoy with dips: a simple yet thoughtful start that highlights every detail. The meat courses were exceptional. Without exaggeration, the best meat I've ever eaten. Perfect cuts, intense yet balanced flavors, all carefully explained as the portioning process takes place. Every dish tells a story, every bite confirms the exceptional quality of the ingredients. The wine and water were truly excellent, perfectly in keeping with the rest of the meal. The staff was helpful, attentive, and super professional. The service was impeccable: not too fast, not too slow. It struck the right balance between the delivery of the dishes, the time to savor them, and that brief wait that makes you long for the next course. The portions aren't large, but they're perfectly balanced, and you often get seconds. You leave feeling full and satisfied, without that feeling of excessive heaviness. And I want to add something important: having undergone stomach surgery a few months ago (hence the reduced portions in the photos), and no longer being able to eat as much as before, I still managed to try a little bit of everything, without difficulty. For me, it was truly significant. To conclude: dessert, coffee, and liqueurs. Everything tasted excellent, consistent with the quality of the entire experience. I highly recommend booking well in advance: the place isn't very big and is rightly very popular. I'm super excited and will definitely be back... maybe with a cooler, to take home a piece of that amazing meat I had the pleasure of tasting today. ❤️

We're a group of four, and this is already our fourth time going to Cecchini's. The food is excellent and plentiful, and the location is fun. They also welcome four-legged friends, both large and small (we've always brought our German Shepherd and Chihuahua). We'll definitely go back ☺
