We went with friends on a Friday evening.
The place is nicely set up, but with rather "narrow" tables.
The main dish is the fried cod fillets. Good place to eat some treats in a central neighborhood of Rome.
The price list is perhaps a little high (€7 for 1 cod fillet or for 6 anchovy fillets in oil, with 4 slices of butter).

Real cod fillets, like you can eat them here nowhere else, I recommend taking them and eating them while walking through the streets of Rome

The cod and chicory seasoned with anchovies are delicious.
In the end I also bought the "fatte du filetti" t-shirt 😂😂😂😂

Lower than our expectations both for the rather small place and for what we ate. The positive note was the guys who served us at the table... present and available.

A quick bite in a energetic neighborhood, the food was great, server was nice and service was quick. No fuss or frills, there were a few locals dining in as well as a few take away orders. We also ordered there house wine that was on tap. Great spot if you’re looking for some breaded fish at a more than fair price.

Only came for the fish and beer! What a beautiful combo. I understand why people like this spot. It's a big tucked away but well worth the walk. The kitchen is open late so you can definitely stop by early or late. The service was top notch.

Historic Roman restaurant a stone's throw from Campo de' Fiori which for decades has served delicious fried and searing cod fillets, both to take away and for consumption in a restaurant (in the latter case the combination with chicory, truly exceptional). The rest is also very good, like the fried courgettes. The place is also beautiful, it really feels like a step back in time. Very fast service but friendly, very kind and helpful staff, average bill (€20-30 per person).

We came there with a Roman colleague, a Roman trattoria specializing in frying cod. Friendly staff, a somewhat Spartan place, wooden tables with paper tablecloths, it doesn't have many dishes, you can see them on the menu, essentially chicory, fried cod, anchovies with butter, but also ham and buffalo mozzarella. We were a nice table, we only realized the day after that they had charged the total cost of wine, water and beer to all the guests, so we paid more than we should have, even though the prices are low. The evening was still pleasant, they don't accept reservations, but the table turns around very often, I advise you not to dress elegantly because they will get soaked in fried food as there is no door separating it from the kitchen where the frying is done. The cod is very good, the breading is amazing, crunchy and dry and the fish maintains its consistency, the chicory perhaps I would have preferred to be softer (it's personal taste), anchovies and butter a must, obviously I like anchovies. In addition we also took fried potatoes and battered courgettes. It must be said that they brought two more portions of fried cod and offered us the bitters
