On March 2nd we had booked at the Conca d'Oro location but then we were diverted to Tiburtina, the evening had not started well... but then we were welcomed there by Mr. Antonio who with great enthusiasm helped us in choosing the dishes and we had a wonderful evening.

I booked a dinner with friends, not knowing it was part of a chain restaurant, and only learned it was all-you-can-eat once I sat down.
For the price, the biggest flaw is the low temperature of the food served, but the vast menu selection perhaps offsets the €24.90 bill.
The all-you-can-eat menu on Saturday night included: appetizer (supplì, beans, chickpeas, potato chips, polenta cubes), first course (gricia, carbonara, cacio e pepe, matriciana), second course (chicken cacciatore, tomato-infused meatballs, tripe, pork loin), side dish (chicory), dessert (panna cotta), water, wine, and bread.
The friendly waiters (who, despite the room being full, easily handled the many guests between two) are truly Roman, and it was fun to chat, especially with the waitress, who made our experience at this restaurant even more enjoyable.

We went to Er Bottarolo in Rome and had a truly wonderful time.
The staff is super friendly and immediately puts you at ease, creating a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere.
As for the food, it was a real pleasure. We tried the amatriciana, gricia, and carbonara, all perfectly prepared, with authentic flavors and plenty of it. The appetizer was amazing, with lots of small delicacies to nibble on, and for the main course, we had huge meatballs, truly tasty and succulent.

What an absurd place. We got off at Tiburtina, arrived here starving at 2:30 PM, and wow, we ate so much and so well. I wasn't familiar with the place or their all-you-can-eat offering, and I was pleasantly surprised. The only thing they decide is the appetizers; for the rest, you have wine, water, traditional first courses, and traditional second courses as much as you want, and yes, we all thought, "Well, they must be poorly made, rushed, or of poor quality." Nothing could be more wrong. Good food that's good for your stomach and soul, staff that makes you feel at home, and a place that reminds you of grandma's house. I hope to be able to return.

The negative reviews left us perplexed. Considering it's a trattoria on the outskirts of Rome, you can't expect stellar wine or a cutting-edge restaurant. Everything is perfectly in line with the price and the location: a simple place with friendly, approachable staff and inviting, home-style cuisine that obviously focuses on first courses, though the second courses aren't bad either, despite the smaller portions. I recommend it if you're looking to chat and maybe even have a few jokes while enjoying excellent first courses at a reasonable price. Parking is on the street, so you'll need a fair amount of luck for that.

Yes, you can eat reasonably well while spending little if you choose the all-inclusive menu option.
