A weekend in Rome, we decided to have dinner at Dar Bittarolo Tiburtina. The atmosphere was rustic, friendly, and above all FAMILY-FRIENDLY! Gianluca made us feel at home with a welcoming, friendly, and very entertaining atmosphere. The atmosphere is clean. We found the food to be excellent, especially the delicious first courses. The matriciana was expertly prepared, as were the carbonara and gricia. For the main course, the chicken tasted like it had been cooked by my mother, reminding me of the flavors of yesteryear. What can I say? It's a shame we live in Parma, a bit too inconvenient to become regulars. But we were truly, truly satisfied with everything. Congratulations. Massimiliano

La Base — I’ve known them for 25 years. It’s one of the best places for anyone who wants to have something to eat near the Colosseum and Monti. You can find pasta, pizza, mozzarella, burgers, steaks, or rice and fish — all at reasonable and affordable prices, and available from noon until late at night. Whenever you don’t know where or what to eat, you can always go to La Base.
I’m not saying they have the best quality food, but it’s a really cool spot and definitely much better than many of the typical tourist traps.
It’s a pub-style restaurant, suitable for all ages.
The only thing I don’t like is that they change staff too often, and the food quality used to be better before. I wish them good luck!

Locale alla buona e senza pretese. Cibi semplici e porzioni abbondanti. Ottimi i bucatini all'amatriciana. Economico il conto. Locale adatto per trascorrere una serata in allegria con gli amici.
