It's always nice to see innovation in Padua. daPRETTE offers many flavors outside of the traditional pastry shop, some with an American twist (e.g., cinnamon rolls and various drinks like pumpkin spice lattes) and plenty of savory options (like panzerotti, which I haven't tried). Since I love savory breakfasts, I opted for a leavened pastry without filling and more neutral than others: the cinnamon roll. Buttery, sticky, but only slightly, and a good portion. It lacked a bit of flavor (my golden standard is the Swedish and Danish roll), but in my opinion, it was much better than the American-style cinnamon roll. It was a bonus that it wasn't very sweet, which is by no means a given and much appreciated. The macchiato was very well made, with a nice foam. The place is cute. If I return, I'll try the savory option.

Finally, Padua has its own modern brunch bar! Cool atmosphere, relaxed vibe, and a selection of desserts you'll fall in love with! Highly recommended! Fast and friendly staff!

I've had breakfast here a couple of times and was surprised. There's a wide variety of croissants and pastries for breakfast. It's very popular and everything is delicious!

The puff pastry pastries are super special; I highly recommend the coconut and milk swirl. The pastry is crispy and layered, and the fillings are generous. My favorite is the brownie with cashews, pear, and caramel. The panzerotti are also delicious and very reasonably priced.

After a stroll through the center of Padua, we stumbled upon this place for breakfast. What can I say? Fantastic and delicious croissants, plenty to choose from, and excellent, welcoming service. We'll definitely be back.

A well-deserved 5 stars. Maximum customer service, honesty, and speed are the norm here. I've been a fan of "Da Prette" for years. It has never disappointed me.
