Dao In Roma

It is a very refined place, different from other restaurants that offer the same type of cuisine. You eat with a touch of class. The dishes are carefully prepared and refined, and the combinations of flavors are very pleasant and genuine. The environment is relaxing and the staff are courteous and attentive. I ordered the turbot, which with flakes of ginger, asparagus, courgettes and carrots, accompanied by a superb Verdicchio, is mouth-watering.

Very relaxing and pleasant atmosphere, refined and soft environment. Decent food is satisfying. Good service. If I can give some advice in a half-empty room, I would not occupy tables that are too close together to ensure the beautiful and soft atmosphere of the place

Had dinner here for Chinese New Year (they have a special dinner and it's the second year we've attended). Nice restaurant, with attentive and friendly staff. The dishes are of a high standard, prepared with skill and originality. Absolutely recommended!

The best Chinese restaurant in Rome!

Just today I returned to Dao with my family and the unanimous comment of us 4 adults (parents, daughter and son-in-law) was that the quality and service are always very good, the atmosphere is pleasant and the menu offers varies. A place to try!

Il ristorante si trova in viale Jonio, zona periferica di Roma non particolarmente attraente, ma entrando ecco la magia: grande eleganza, si viene accolti dal manager e da una bella brigata di ragazze, alcune cinesi altre no, ma tutte educatissime, carine e professionali. Viene immediatamente preso il cappotto che appendono in guardaroba consegnando un biglietto per il ritiro. Un dettaglio che pochissimi ristoranti a Roma hanno. La cucina e' ottima, abbiamo assaggiato varie portate perfettamente eseguite, servizio velocissimo e attento da parte delle ragazze. Come dicevo sono tante, e il servizio non va mai in affanno. Alcuni imprenditori per tirchieria non assumono collaboratori e nelle sale si crea il panico. Invece da Dao ci siamo proprio rilassati. Le ragazze fornivano anche delucidazioni sui vari piatti. Da bere vini siciliani del barone Scammacca del Murgo. Non posso parlare del rapporto qualita' prezzo perche' ero ospite di un amico, ma Dao e' un locale magico dove voglio assolutamente tornare giovanni

Ho voluto provare questo ristorante per diversi consigli ricevuti da amici. Abbiamo ordinato diversi antipasti: involtini, ravioli, ballo. Erano tutti abbastanza buoni, chi più chi meno. I ravioli al nero di seppia un po’ amari. Come portate principali abbiamo preso piatti diversi. La zuppa di pollo non era niente male ma avrei gradito se fosse stata servita con un cucchiaio. L’anatra alla HongKong era molto buona. Il maiale millenario era saporito ma secondo me un po’ troppo zuccherata la salsa. Generalmente la materia prima è molto buona, soprattutto la carne, ci sono delle piccolezze che farebbero diventare i piatti strepitosi. Un po’ scarsi i dolci
