A truly excellent pastry shop in Ravenna, perfect for breakfast, a snack, or a coffee/tea break. The selection is extensive, but special mention goes to the savory snacks: delicious and visually perfect, reminiscent of the English afternoon tea. The owner, if you read this, needs at least one more person. The girls are very kind and cheerful, but handling twenty people alone during peak hours is just too much.

Pasticceria Dante is always a sure thing!!! When I'm in the area, I always stop in for some mini pastries. They also made our wedding cake, and Stefano offered us such a wide variety of flavors that my husband and I couldn't decide. In the end, the raspberry and white chocolate flavor won out, even though I'm not a fan of white chocolate. The cake was absolutely amazing and received so many compliments!!

A lovely pastry shop in the heart of Ravenna, elegant, clean, and offering a wide selection, perfect for breakfast, a snack, or even a quick coffee. The mini pastries are truly well-made and delicious, although I must say that the tiramisu one didn't thrill me much, unlike the Sachertorte, which was truly exceptional. The prices are perhaps slightly higher than average, but in my opinion, they're absolutely worth it.

Whenever I pass through Ravenna, Pasticceria Dante is a must-see. I don't have time to take photos because I'm so tempted to try their specialties. I invite you to visit this pastry shop and be swept away by the beauty, flavor, and quality of the ingredients used in their splendid cakes and fresh pastries. My compliments to the pastry shop and all the staff, who are always so kind.

Fantastic pastry shop, beautiful, elegant, and clean. A wide selection of all kinds of pastries and brioches. We tried the brioche with zabaglione cream and the whole-wheat one with honey...so good!

A very well-maintained pastry shop in the center of Ravenna, near the Duomo, with friendly and helpful staff. A wide selection of mini pastries, pastries, and savory treats. This time I had a maritozzo with pistachio cream: a generous filling, delicate and flavorful overall. The pastries are delicious.

We stumbled upon this delicious pastry shop by chance. When it comes to good food, the eye also wants its share, and here it is satisfied; I personally ate the entire pastry shop with my eyes! The coffee is also very good.

16/12/2025: Good old-fashioned, wholesome food, well-prepared in a very clean and friendly Osteria atmosphere. Decent wine cellar.
01/12/2025: Just a few kilometers from Ravenna, you can rediscover the taste of wholesome local cuisine at the historic Osteria DA DUMANDO', dating back to 1880. We spent a lovely evening sampling traditional Romagna dishes. Everything was truly excellent, starting with the warm welcome and kindness of the owner and chef, with whom we enjoyed chatting at the end of the evening. Highly recommended!

Caffe Gelateria Bassi

27/12/2025: The first time I went to Caffè Bassi was about 50 years ago. The old Bassi family were kind, competent people; the place was clean, as were the bathrooms. Then it passed into the hands of their son and wife. A slight decline in kindness, but nothing more. Today, my wife and I stopped for a break; it was chaotic, with a mix of clientele, and the service left much to be desired. But the worst part was the bathrooms, which were unspeakable, veritable latrines, not properly cleaned. What a shame! After 50 years, I'll have to give up a pleasant stop on winter afternoons. Never again. Bruno
