Because I have to perceive myself as a tourist when I go to Ischia or another holiday destination abroad, and because Ischia is not just an island, but a very beautiful and attractive island, which naturally means that not a few but many People travel there, I can't be surprised that I'm one of many during the season. I have had many stays on Ischia for over 50 years, in spring, autumn and even in the middle of summer. It was always nice. Landscape, climate, nature, food and people. Even in recent times when everyone is only thinking about money - both those who have it and those who don't - I never felt “ripped off”. The people there are nice and hospitable - some visitors can learn the proverbial lesson from them - and like everywhere else, it depends a little on how you approach them. I can highly recommend Ischia as a holiday destination.

Ischia is very beautiful for exploring in the forests and even remote places. Even though it is a single island, it is very interesting.

If many go to Procida or Capri, my friend and I chose Ischia, and did not regret it! This island warmly welcomes you. You can rent bike, electric bike, car. For us, it was a small automatic Smart. From there, for the eyes, it is only enchantment, speechless in the face of so much beauty, which the sky and the sun magnify even more. At the port, you can find everything you could need, restaurants, hotels, bars etc... But you have to leave the place to discover how much this island is worth the detour, and more than just a detour. We regretted not having booked a hotel or a guest room, to savor the night falling on Ischia, and to dream of having a little house there, so that every day we could savor its landscapes and its sweetness of life

I am convinced that this island is perfect for a pure dolce idleness stay, sun, beaches, hot water springs everything is there to relax. The sea is omnipresent, the gardens are lush, the villages charming. On the other hand, if you are one of those who like to explore and visit, skip your turn because you can quickly get bored. Furthermore, I don't dare imagine the world in the summer period because in October it's already difficult to get around. I don't even recommend the scooter and even less the car. You will not have any place to park. Take the buses which work very well. The weekly subscription is 15€/person. In addition, check the weather before leaving because it is unforgiving. Unfortunately once the castle is done, you will have no activity for the rainy days and when those come one after the other, you are stuck. I am one of the unlucky ones, unfortunately. Wishing you a more beautiful experience on this island which for my part will not see me again.
