I spent several days in Pantelleria and ate lunch and dinner at this restaurant throughout the entire stay. Throughout the entire stay, I enjoyed excellent interpretations of Pantelleria specialties and Italian cuisine. Franco, the owner, along with Sergio and Eugenio, are highly skilled at satisfying their customers with a highly professional approach. Furthermore, the dishes are excellent, and, of course, fish is the star.

A welcoming restaurant in a strategic location with a sea view and parking.
Excellent value for money, tasty dishes, especially those made with typical local products.
Excellent staff, especially Mr. Franco, who is very professional and, above all, makes you feel at ease. Not least, the entire kitchen and the staff, Eugenio and Sergio, are professional, kind, and friendly.

During our family vacation in Pantelleria, we discovered Il Dammuso, a true landmark on the island. The typical Pantellerian and Sicilian cuisine is simply delicious: hearty dishes, fresh ingredients, and authentic flavors that reflect the local tradition. The prices are fair, and the atmosphere is welcoming, perfect for making you feel right at home.
The Bacio Pantesco is definitely not to be missed—the best I've ever eaten! A gastronomic experience I recommend to anyone who wants to savor the true flavor of Pantelleria. 🌺

The restaurant looks good inside, and the terrace (reservations required) probably had a better view.
As for the dishes, we were disappointed with the couscous; it tasted only of vegetables, and my baked fish, unfortunately, lacked flavor.
The staff was very kind and attentive.

We let the owner convince us and immediately ordered two fish couscous (the vegetables cooked separately were good, and the fish, chopped into very small pieces, was actually quite small). The chili pepper sauce was delicious.
Followed by Pantelleria-style swordfish rolls, baked breaded swordfish. A bit bland...
For dessert, a cannolo and a Pantelleria-style bacio. Finished beautifully with an excellent Ben Ryé passito.
With a good local Zibibbo, €112 for two.
The local wine list is small but decent.
Unfortunately, many of the fish dishes were frozen, as is often the case here on the island...

Each of us has experienced that reviews can be fictitious. Well, in the case of the DAMMUSO restaurant, after having experienced it firsthand (like St. Thomas), I can say that the cuisine is sublime and the staff is truly top-notch. If I could, I would choose DAMMUSO all my life.
