The restaurant looks good inside, and the terrace (reservations required) probably had a better view.
As for the dishes, we were disappointed with the couscous; it tasted only of vegetables, and my baked fish, unfortunately, lacked flavor.
The staff was very kind and attentive.

We let the owner convince us and immediately ordered two fish couscous (the vegetables cooked separately were good, and the fish, chopped into very small pieces, was actually quite small). The chili pepper sauce was delicious.
Followed by Pantelleria-style swordfish rolls, baked breaded swordfish. A bit bland...
For dessert, a cannolo and a Pantelleria-style bacio. Finished beautifully with an excellent Ben Ryé passito.
With a good local Zibibbo, €112 for two.
The local wine list is small but decent.
Unfortunately, many of the fish dishes were frozen, as is often the case here on the island...

Each of us has experienced that reviews can be fictitious. Well, in the case of the DAMMUSO restaurant, after having experienced it firsthand (like St. Thomas), I can say that the cuisine is sublime and the staff is truly top-notch. If I could, I would choose DAMMUSO all my life.

We're in Pantelleria for work. I called Franco at the last minute, and in 10 minutes he had everything we needed ready to eat on time. Delicious and prompt.

Beautiful place, right on the waterfront. Friendly and very professional staff. The shellfish soup is worth a visit... EXPLOSIVE flavors!!! 5 stars aren't enough to describe how delicious it is!

Se volete mangiare bene , e apprezzate la "sostanza" del cibo e soprattutto freschezza e qualità, questo è il posto giusto. Pasta e specialità marinare sempre freschissime ( e senza problemi "digestivi") Simpatica e diretta l'accoglienza di Franco e del suo Staff pronto a soddisfare le varie richieste. Noi eravamo un gruppo di 20 con menù concordato ed abbiamo cenato per quattro sere : tutti soddisfatti.

Dopo essere passato da due ristoranti di alto livello, e non mi avevano soddisfatto, ho deciso di visitare questa trattoria sul porto, l’ambiente è molto semplice e pure il servizio, ma le pietanze sono ben fatte, finalmente si gustano i profumi e i sapori di Pantelleria, buoni i primi , gli spaghettoni al pesto di capperi e finocchietto, le busiate con melanzane, ricotta e pomodori secchi, splendida la ricciola alla Pantesca , e per finire un classico Bacio, spesa compresa una bottiglia di vino, 40 euro a testa, prezzo giusto per la qualità dei piatti. Consigliato se si vuol mangiare bene senza troppi fronzoli.
