We visited this restaurant in Marina di Gioiosa Ionica and were truly satisfied. The place is welcoming and well-maintained. We chose only seafood dishes, and we were truly impressed by the quality: incredibly fresh appetizers, a delicate yet flavorful pumpkin, shrimp, and truffle risotto, and a perfectly cooked mixed grill of seafood. The service was attentive and friendly, without ever being intrusive. The bill was perfectly in line with local prices, appropriate for the quality of the seafood and the overall experience. Highly recommended for those seeking authentic and carefully prepared seafood.

Siamo stati a cena da Damì a luglio 2025. Bella atmosfera, architettura e illuminazione ricercate e curate in ogni dettaglio. Cibo ottimo con qualità altissima e un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Consigliato l’antipasto Damì e anche il risotto con gamberi zucca e olio tartufato, buonissimo!!! Personale attento, cortese e disponibile. Ci siamo trovati molto bene e torneremo sicuramente ad agosto!

What can I say, everything was delicious. A classy venue, quality food, and impeccable service. For starters, we ordered the shrimp and pumpkin risotto and macaroni with Calabrian ragù: in a word, delicious. For main courses, the fried and mixed grilled fish were sublime. For dessert, the Pizzo truffles were a real hit. We'll definitely be back.

Recommended for those who want to sample high-quality local specialties. The à la carte menu offers a choice of both seafood and meat dishes. I opted for the meat dishes and was truly impressed. The atmosphere is refined and welcoming, and the staff is very attentive to their guests' needs.

From the baby octopus soup to the octopus tentacles on truffle mashed potatoes (excellently cooked, the octopus tender, and the truffle not overpowering but delicate), to the trio of carpaccios, absolutely DELICIOUS (with Mazara red prawns, scampi, and pink prawns), fresh and truly excellent, the appetizers, followed by: a generous peppery mussel dish, just the right amount of spicy, a mixed grill of excellent fresh fish, the dish of the day, "Salmon in porchetta," original and delicious, accompanied by sautéed chicory and Sicilian-style swordfish, a very rich, plentiful, and excellent dish; all washed down with a Scassabarile Venerr rosé wine, all four of us diners left delighted by having discovered this place with its intimate and elegant yet welcoming atmosphere, as if we were guests at a friend's house. We finally concluded the dinner with excellent Pizzo truffles, of various types, and the more delicate palates greatly appreciated a fragrant rose liqueur, highly recommended, especially to the female tasters. A truly beautiful place, with different spaces and a "treasure" waiting to be discovered, in the "heart" of the building. It was truly a wonderful discovery. We'll be back to try the complete antipasto and many other dishes we were curious about. Recommended? Absolutely!
