22/07/2025: A great experience at Ciamarras! The tonnarelli cacio e pepe were creamy and well-balanced, and the Mediterranean-style cod was flavorful and delicate. The Ciamarras Ball ended with a bang: a chocolate sphere with caramelized pears and ricotta—a real surprise! Attentive service and a pleasant atmosphere. I'll gladly return.
16/07/2025: The owner is very kind and helpful: since we had a small dog with us, he sat us in a corner where he could be quiet and not get in the way of the waiters. This gesture, as well as his attempt to resolve a mix-up with one dish, were greatly appreciated: I had ordered octopus with hummus and "smoked peppers," having first asked the waiter how the peppers were served; since I'd been told it was a mousse, I chose that dish... if I'd known it was actually just a little pepper powder, barely noticeable as a flavor on the plate, I would have definitely ordered the octopus burger (a less expensive dish with more ingredients, given that it also included chips as a side dish). I hope, however, that the conversation prompted them to update the menu and the waiters, as it's important to be clear with customers. Otherwise, the waiter was also courteous, noticing that the music was loud and turning it down. For a Tuesday night, there were quite a few people, and the service wasn't particularly fast. However, I certainly found the staff to be friendly, and I appreciated that our dishes were brought all at once to avoid long waits between courses. I think the prices are a bit high. The octopus was well cooked, and the ribs in BBQ sauce were tender and flavorful, but the portions aren't very generous. I wouldn't charge €5 for a plate of baked potatoes like the one in the photo. I would have even put more potatoes on the plate with the ribs (rather than the classic '80s side dish of arugula or cherry tomato salad), and I expected more hummus with my octopus. However, the flavors are good, except for the chips offered as an appetizer, which I found to be too oily. We went for dinner, but there's a wide selection even if you just go for an aperitivo (there's a separate menu whose prices seem reasonable, worth trying!). Last night's experience leaves me a little undecided about my overall level of appreciation for this place, but I think I might give this place a second chance to convince myself more,
