hands down the best restaurant we’ve eaten at during our 14 days in italy. food is SO good. innovative and unique for a great price, so delicious that my friends and i immediately booked a second dinner there for the next day haha we tried almost all their primi and secondi options from the two days and loved everything! the pastas we had were also fantastic. menu changed a bit everyday which was exciting! (personal favourite: the liver with onions). great atmosphere and the best service. great negroni + handmade cheesecake as well! such a hidden gem, wish i didn’t live halfway across the world from it so i could go again. couldn’t recommend enough

The miso gnocchi and the cheesecake are to DIE for. Great atmosphere and service! One of the best places I went to during my time in Italy ♥️ Will come back

Got there just because opinions online were good. Place was busy, got a seat with shared table which was not a problem. Menu small, but there is variety of stuff to go for. Went for chicken liver and roasted potatoes - both really nice, juicy, not a bit dry and salted just about right. Got also glass of homemade white wine - very light and tasty. Service was great, enthusiastic and helpful to English speaker, even exhausted one like me. And prices are more than welcoming. Definitely a good place to have a dinner.

Absolutely wonderful restaurant. The service was warm and inviting. The food was amazing. Local dishes with a bit of flair. My favorite stop in Florence. Would recommend a reservation. Price was extremely reasonable. Loved it

We lucked out and got a table without a reservation. We had Francesina di Lingua (beef toung) and Gnocci al miso which were both spectacular!!

The atmosphere there is very special and modern. The service was super nice and competent, presented us with the entire menu and gave us advice. The meal was excellent. We would go there again and again, big recommendation!

04/01/2025: I ate here with my husband in 2017, and I still remember it for the wonderful hospitality. I found everything perfect. The food (first and foremost), the table service, the very friendly staff and reasonable prices for what is served (the courses were plentiful). I spent a very pleasant evening. The next time I visit Florence I will definitely come back.

Pizzeria Fra' Cipolla

20/12/2024: Di passaggio, sosta per un pranzo veloce. Locale pienissimo di lavoratori, buon segno ma il timore di finire "dimenticati" al tavolo ammetto ci è venuta, invece è andato tutto super bene. Veniamo fatti sedere e in pochissimi minuti ci viene fornito il menù, spartano su un foglio di carta fotocopiato ma per un pranzo a menù fisso è esattamente quello che ci si aspetta. Dall'ordine i piatti sul tavolo il tempo è stato brevissimo, la cortesia tanta. Porzioni generose sia per il primo che per il secondo, e a giudicare dagli altri tavoli abbiamo fatto bene a non optare per l'opzione "abbondante", disponibile per ogni piatto, perché non saremo riusciti a finire il tutto. Primi saporiti e pasta cotta al dente e condita il giusto, secondi semplici ma tutt'altro che deludenti. Patatine fritte bene, e nuovamente confrontando alle pietanze sui tavoli vicini pare che a friggere siano davvero bravi. 12 euro a testa per uscire soddisfatti e con la pancia piena, 1 euro in più per un caffè, buono pure quello (e non è scontato). Per le prossime trasferte abbiamo un punto di riferimento insomma. Dimenticavo: non vedevo bagno così puliti in un esercizio pubblico in Italia da parecchio tempo. Bravi davvero!
