Absolutely delicious. A perfect lunch. Portions were appropriate. Gnocchi was somehow light, even in a butter miso sauce. Fried tortellini antipasti was so unique. Best cheesecake we’ve had in Italy. Owners are so kind and very active. Lovely experience.

Like finding the old S. Spirito neighborhood, like it was 25 years ago, back in rejuvenated form. Laid back, hospitable and with a great sense of irony and humour. It's the people, the ones cooking and serving as well as the ones dropping in for a talk and a bite, that breathe life into this precious corner spot. It's like the note taped to the wall says: please stay like this, don't forget! It's easy to almost forget mentioning the food and the wine, but yeah, those are great too. A treasure.

I was excited to try their fake tripe but it was not on the menu when we went. My husband had the pasta with butter and anchovies and that was delicious. The fried tortellini was good although dry and the mayo you got as dipping sauce could have used some hot pepper or something to cut the fat. I had some pasta with cod topping but it was underwhelming. The cheesecake with pink peppercorn was interesting but I couldn't eat a lot of it. When we asked for a cappuccino, the owner said "Absolutely not!" We never did get just a regular caffe we ordered after that emphatic no. They were very busy. Unfortunately, the food was just average and it was priced like everywhere else with 12 euro pasta and appetizers.

Great food, very helpful and friendly employees, but the interior (especially the back dining room) could use a little upgrade. The light from the kitchen is harsh shining into the seating area. Get the gnocchi and lengua; both were fantastic!

The atmosphere is quaint and very unique. It's reminiscent of the '70s, with the young, very talented and friendly people. The spaghetti with anchovies is a must-try, as is the amazing braciola!

A quiet restaurant in the Santo Spirito area. A relaxed yet elegant location, with excellent, professional, and fast service. Excellent quality, carefully crafted dishes. Cuisine that respects Tuscan tradition but with a twist. Highly recommended!!

Fantastic local restaurant where the service, food and atmosphere were all stunning. Our best meal of our trip to Florence without a doubt. The menu changes daily and the host wheels it round to you on a poster explaining each item. This is cooking with love and passion. Food comes fast and the small tables make for a great atmosphere. Don’t miss out on the cheesecake which is arguably one of the best I’ve had. PRO TIP: stop opposite at Caffé Notte for pre-dinner drinks and enjoy great cocktails for €6 each. Great ambience and character. Recommend to book ahead. Would return to both in a heartbeat.
