The best of the best that Italy has to offer. Unbelievable flavors I’ve never imagined, perfect execution and presentation, and also a beautiful dining room to top it all off. I am not sure what could have made this better. I was blown away. It’s worth coming out of your way to experience this meal. Whatever you do, don’t miss the pumpkin ravioli or orange soufflé. I’ve been on a bit of a Michelin fine dining “food tour” in the country this last week and, by far, Dal Pescatore Santini was the best.

We visited Dal Pescatore this evening...the Santini family restaurant. As soon as you enter, you experience the true hospitality of a family that has, from generation to generation, nurtured tradition, while preserving the dishes that have made it a top-notch restaurant in Italy and beyond. The dishes are meticulously crafted and leave you with the feeling of having embarked on a journey that blends tradition and modernity. Our heartfelt thanks go to Mr. Antonio, his son Roberto, Chef Giovanni, and Mrs. Nadia, along with all their staff, for providing us with an unforgettable experience.

Ottima esperienza! Ambiente elegante ed accogliente, con un’atmosfera calda e curata nei dettagli. Personale gentile e professionale. I piatti tutti deliziosi, ricorderò per molto tempo i tortelli di zucca e la terrina d’astice. Consiglio una visita in questo tempio della cucina italiana.

Comincio con il dire che è stata una bella esperienza e siamo stati bene..ma ci sono dei “ma” che non mi aspettavo visto il livello del ristorante. Sensazione d’arrivo e accoglienza ottima, sala molto elegante, ambiente ricercato con una luce molto bella. Non vi fate ingannare dal menu presentato con un solo foglio, è fatto per quel giorno e per poterlo portar con voi senza problemi (personalmente avviserei per evitare che sembri un’approssimazione). Sala bellissima ma un po’ “rumorosa”, c’è da lavorare sul rimbombare dei rumori e delle voci, oltre al fatto che si sentiva una sirena tipo “ascensore arrivato”.. non sono riuscito a capire da dove arrivasse. Alzato dal tavolo nessun interesse per il mio tovagliolo, per quello di mia moglie invece si, strano. Bagno assolutamente bocciato..scarno e non al livello del resto. Nessuna lavette, crema per le mani, profumatore o altre amenities che si trovano in ristoranti così importanti. Il lavabo con il sistema dyson che si trova in alcuni centri commerciali....e quelle porte automatiche sicuramente “pulite” ma davvero “strane”. Servizio del pane molto scarno, vassoietto con focaccia, grissino e fetta di pane..refill fatto con cestino. Focaccia molto buona e rimpiazzata spesso, così come per l’acqua: sempre puntuali. Per quanto riguarda l’impiattamento delle portate mi aspettavo di più. Tutti i piatti personalizzati..ma praticamente tutti uguali. Impiattamento poco emozionante. In compenso i ragazzi in sala sono stati tutti molto professionali e attenti, MOLTO Bene. I sig.ri Santini tutti meravigliosi e gentilissimi. Sui piatti sinceramente non ho trovato quello che mi aspettavo non solo a livello estetico ma anche a livello di gusto. Tralascio la amuse bouche: ottimi ingredienti oltre modo semplici. La zucchina molto bella, ma un gusto molto “normale”. La composta di melanzane e pomodori: bella e buona ma non me la ricorderò. La terrina di astice: bella ma fredda e gelatinosa, anche questo un piatto che non colpisce. Orto d’estate: bellissimo ma non lo ricorderò, oltre il gusto di verdure ..nulla. Tortelli di Zucca davvero SPETTACOLARI, davvero una poesia. Questo il livello che mi aspettavo. Perfetti, semplici ma una sorpresa nel gusto: una zucca saporita che sposa l’amaretto e la mostarda senza dar fastidio ma facendoli sentire. Un MASTERPIECE da ricordare. Risotto molto buono, ma per equilibrare la bottarga il risotto “da solo” risulta quasi insipido. Quindi consiglio di mangiarlo sempre assieme..se vi rimane risotto senza bottarga però il piatto perde. Anguilla: potenzialmente il piatto peggiore. Brutto nella presentazione, radicchio e anguilla niente da ricordare. Lombata: presentata bene, carne buona anche se me l’aspettavo più morbida. Sorbetto buono, torta di amaretto e fondente al cioccolato molto buoni. Direi che mi aspettavo dei piatti più simili al livello dei ravioli, piatti memorabili che vorresti tornare a mangiare.
