Nice atmosphere, still reminiscent of an old-fashioned pizzeria. The menu is adequate, not overpriced. The food is very good and unpretentious. Very friendly staff.

The place is as welcoming as an old piola, and the food is excellent—the appetizers, plin, and brandacujun are all excellent. Generous portions and delicious bread. My only small complaint is the prices, which, like most restaurants, have skyrocketed since Covid.

I've had the Guanacale three times, and twice it was delicious (10/10), and once it was very bad. I recommend getting the appetizer set. The chef was also nice. When I showed up once, feeling sad and only ordered a beer, he didn't charge me.

We stayed here in January for a couple of days in Turin. The food was delicious, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was perfect for my family. Highly recommended.

I had a Christmas lunch with my family, with a set menu. Everything was excellent, with quality food and typical Piedmontese dishes. Special thanks to Mr. Massimo.

24/02/2026: "Old school" place in all aspects. Environment, service, food cooked (VG), a little lost in servicing even though only 4tables to be served. Extremely expensive for what it offers.
29/01/2026: It's my favorite place: the food is excellent, the service is attentive and meticulous, the wine list is remarkable, but above all, the care and attention to customer service are like nothing else. Long live the Black Cat!

20/02/2026: A legendary place out of space and time, where you can socialize and eat like a god! Tonight, in the comforting warmth of the family, two types of white bread and gourmet breadsticks (rubatá mais, linea vecchio mulino, Chieri) with Russian salad, a platter of soft salami and DOP cheeses, Russian salad and raw meat with cauliflower salad and meat morsels. Amazing tuna, soft and tasty. Magical vegetable tart and perfect portions. Tournedos!! Fresh and pampered vegetables. Ribollita, not too ribollita but even better, fresh legumes with croutons. A fairytale tiramisu and excellent licorice with super cask wine. Also ny cheesecake (Angela makes the best in the world!!) and black Russian. Nino is the perfect host and bartender, only at lunch; music on Mondays and Tuesdays. But above all, the people: just like at home, but better. Warmth
