The best street & finger food of the Mercato del Capo. Caponata, fried squid, salad and other local specialties. Only problem: counter service is long during busy periods. A sure value!

We stopped by here as a stop on our tour where we bought walking street food in Palermo. They gave us a taste of the real Palermo food culture. We learned that red meat is used instead of fish in the traditional Palermo cuisine. In addition to the beer preferred by the people of Palermo, our most important food experience here was the freshly fried arancini. Thanks to this, we had the opportunity to eat it crispy and this brought the taste to a different level.

What can I say... typical Palermo food (the best for me) and well done, everything always fresh! The potato croquettes, the caponata, the scones with spleen, the eat and drink and in general the grilled meat platter are exceptional ...in short, everything was excellent! I highly recommend it because the value for money is also exceptional! The staff and the owners are all very kind! topppppppppp

29/08/2024: J'ai connu cet établissement en 2019 et à l'époque il se battait la première et deuxième place sur tripadvisor mais depuis d'année en année le restaurant a baissé en qualité, service parfait mais rapport qualité prix assiette nul car c'est vraiment chère pour ce qu'on nous sert, Désolé d'être négatif mais j'espère que vous saurez relevé le problème car chaque année nous venions mangé mais cette fois était la dernière. Nous étions 8 et tous unanime sur l'avis.
26/08/2024: Posto accogliente personale disponibile e simpatico, i piatti di una qualita' eccelsa , lo consiglio vivamente, non si puo' passare per cefalu' e non venire a provare la cucina di masquenada.

31/07/2024: Nothing fancy place, we had chips and bruschetta as an appetizer... sauces served in a glass of coffee. Decent pizzas. They asked us to keep the appetizer fork for the pizza too 😥..... Something like this doesn't happen even in a restaurant. Finally, since the external tables were not numbered, they counted before leaving the dish. Absurd!!!! However, a little more organization and etiquette wouldn't hurt
29/07/2024: We had dinner outside, taking pizzas, good and stuffed. Soft to the end. Really excellent! The restaurant is on one street, space for cars is scarce.
