An affordable option for trying different fish and seafood dishes in La Spezia. Next to the port, you order at the counter, go to the cashier, and eat on the terrace. The tables are a bit cramped, but the atmosphere is very authentic and everything is really good. The fried fish (calamari and shrimp), the pasta with mussels, and the anchovies are all excellent. If you're looking for a place with a very reasonable price and quality, this is definitely the place.
Since there's always a long line, we decided to give it a try.
You can choose from several dishes. One costs between €8 and €15. There are many seafood dishes. Unfortunately, my couscous was cold. Otherwise, the food was okay for the price.

My husband and I dined last night and can confirm that the half-hour wait before ordering was worth it... everything was delicious!!! From the spaghetti with lobster, to the stewed cuttlefish with potatoes and peas, to the grated scallops, and finally to a delicious octopus and potato salad. Finally, to finish, a double fried calamari and shrimp platter, which was excellent. The waiter was very kind and available to answer any questions we had... we highly recommend it! We will definitely be back when we're in the area.

It's a unique experience. When you want to sit down, you're asked to come inside first. There, all sorts of fish are displayed, like at a fishmonger's. You choose your food and drinks and then wait at your table. We both had tuna and weren't impressed; it was too salty and tasteless.

The best fish I've ever eaten!!! We decided to have dinner on August 15th at Dai Pescatori, a restaurant divided into two parts: a self-service section and a restaurant-fishmonger section, where you feel like you're in a real fishmonger's shop; you choose your food from the counter and they prepare it for you. Very unique. We opted for the restaurant-fishmonger section and were served by Gisella, a truly kind, professional, and friendly lady. We ate two slices of grilled tuna, red prawns, and calamari, all accompanied by a good white wine. Truly delicious, I recommend it if you love good, fresh fish.
