From appetizer to dessert, everything was delicious! Local cured meats and cheeses, homemade tagliatelle with mushrooms, and tender, well-cooked meat! Fast service and very friendly staff. The price is fair for the quality.

After a trip to the lake, you can't miss this trattoria to enjoy Abruzzo cuisine from a modest but truly well-prepared menu (the homemade gnocchi are a delight). You can enjoy the dishes inside or in the garden, relaxing with only the sounds of nature. The service is typical of a trattoria, very homely, and the bill is excellent and moderately low. The hospitality is top-notch. Would I go back? Even tomorrow.

The waiter chewing gum the entire time isn't the best. But the arrosticini are good, the babbà is good, and the crostini with creamed zucchini are good. The price is average.

We found this place by chance while walking past and had a really great time. The dishes are made with delicious local ingredients. I especially recommend trying the appetizer, the arrosticini, and the scamorza with porcini mushrooms!

We visited Lake Scanno in August, a beautiful place but with limited dining options. Thanks to the hospitality of this rustic restaurant located on the road leading to the town of Scanno, with good quality food and above all fair prices, we had lunch and dinner there for three days in a row. The staff were knowledgeable (let them recommend), courteous, and friendly, and the service was prompt. Highly recommended. See you next year :-)

We dined outside because dogs aren't allowed inside. The waiter was very kind, the arrosticini were delicious, and the grilled lamb was amazing! So tender! 😋

29/10/2025: I ate at Mauro's during one of my photography excursions in the area and was thrilled. In my opinion, the place is splendid and very characteristic of the area. The food was delicious, and, unsurprisingly, even the house wine was really good! Being a wine enthusiast, I'm very picky, so you can trust what I say. Last but not least, Mauro's friendliness and warmth, with whom I had the pleasure of chatting for a while, are just some of the highlights. I give everything 5 stars, and I'll even add a thumbs up! I'll definitely be back! Luca
21/10/2025: Great place to eat, ran late, walked in at 2030, and got served fifteen minutes later. Local wine met my expectations, and the food was great. Highly recommendable. Cafe corretto con sambuca rounded off a great dinner. Simplecimente fantastico!!!
