This place saved us from definitely missing a meal on a rainy Sunday in February when other restaurants had turned us away. Great timing. The food was excellent, and so was the service. The person displaying the dishes had eyes that sparkled as they described them to us. A fabulous refuge!

I had an excellent experience at Trattoria dal Ponte, and I hope to return soon. A lunch with friends featuring good food, characterized not only by generous portions but also by the remarkable quality and freshness of the ingredients, perfectly paired with the accompanying wines, all in a simple yet very welcoming and warm setting. Special mention goes to the wide selection of appetizers offered, all excellent, and to the extremely kind staff.

A little place where it will be a pleasure to return

Tonino, a man from another era, what can I say? I'm now convinced that to eat well, you have to go outside of Foggia. Authentic, traditional cuisine, abundant and genuine. I've been going there for years now and it's always 🔝.

This review is for Americans and Canadians. I've been here twice. The first time was by myself, the second time was with a group of about 12 people, all Italians. Everything was great. You must understand that this is in Italy and they love to share meals with friends so it can get pretty loud when everyone is laughing and talking at the same time. And a lot of the patrons were there after church! I can't imagine this scenario in the US. You'd be asked to tone it down unless it was Super Sunday at a sports bar. And in Italy, public intoxication is highly frowned upon. They are loud and boisterous because they're happy. I understand about the lack of menus but they do tell you what is on offer. You can also order one course at a time. We picked our antipasti. Then it was time for primi, then secondi then dolce. Each person either picked or skipped courses according to their choice. Italian waiters don't hover over you and ask how everything is every 5 minutes, but they are fully aware of how the meal is progressing. Sit back and enjoy the ride.

We went on Sunday, October 12, 2025, for a company lunch with the cycling team. Delicious food, excellent service. The staff was attentive and helpful. Top!

I had lunch at Trattoria del Ponte to celebrate a dear friend of mine. The cuisine was authentic, and the appetizers were the stars, showcasing the typical flavors of the sub-Apennine Daunia region. The fresh pasta with pumpkin and guanciale was excellent—welcome autumn! The staff was welcoming, polite, and professional. Recommended!

A Sunday out of town, good product quality, good service, friendly staff, 8/10 courses of house appetizers, first courses to choose from with dishes not only from the local area, second courses, a special and excellent dish, a rabbit hunter's sweet and bitter for a price of €40... the location is full of guests and a little noisy.
