The food was excellent; the coppa served as an appetizer was one of the best coppa I've ever had. Their tartare, too, was not very finely chopped but had a flavor that lingers. The first courses were excellent and generously portioned, but the meat was the highlight of the meal: we had two different cuts, a Danish steak and a classic beef tagliata, both of which ended our meal beautifully. The Danish steak had an intense flavor but wasn't heavy on the palate. The tagliata was very tender and truly delicate. The wine the hostess recommended to accompany our meal was excellent! The only flaw, but only because I can't see much, is that the place is a little dark, but it's truly elegant. The coffered ceiling is truly impressive. I eat here often and it never disappoints!

The restaurant changed hands four years ago. The ingredients are locally sourced, from the cheeses to the vegetables. The atmosphere is rustic and very refined, with a distinctive ceiling designed by architect Nervi. The highlight is the fireplace, which serves excellent grilled meats, including exquisite cuts of Danish, Florentine, and other cuts. The appetizers are excellent, and the portions are generous, as are the homemade first courses. The desserts are delicious. The service is impeccable. For those coming from out of town to eat in Sacrofano, where the restaurant is located, one of the two gates to the village is just a hundred meters away. I recommend taking a stroll through the old town, whose origins date back to Etruscan, Roman, and medieval times. It's one of the few with a small Jewish ghetto. COMBINE TASTE WITH THE PLEASURE OF BEAUTY.

The colonnata in particular was incredibly aromatic 🤤 Personal advice: resist the tempting temptation of the meats "with sauces" and instead order them "clean." Both the fillet and the tagliata were of such quality that I would have looked at them more without interfering, or kept the sauces/garnishes to a minimum and at least on the side 🥩❤️🤤 The "reconstructed" Torta della Nonna was spectacular 👵🍰

Special praise goes to the waitress, who was extremely professional, kind, and attentive: she greeted us with a smile, offered the best advice, and ensured impeccable service throughout the dinner. A restaurant that makes you feel at home and definitely deserves a recommendation. We will gladly return!

I'd discovered their cuisine through delivery, then we decided to try it in person, and it was a great decision. Everything was fabulous, from appetizer to dessert, excellent service, and top-quality ingredients. Highly recommended.

Only the name remains at Tonino's... The brazier is the star, definitely the restaurant's highlight. Bad luck had it that I frequented this place a couple of times before, in its heyday when the food and quality were truly top-notch! It still needs work to get close to a star higher in the ratings! Advice: less quantity, more selection and quality.

Very good restaurant. The staff is kind and friendly. The atmosphere is very pleasant. We made a last-minute reservation for 6 people, and they were very kind enough to accommodate us even though it was almost 3:00 PM. Highly recommended. Go there!! We'll be back!
