We ended up in Codigoro to visit our great-grandparents and, somewhat by chance, we discovered a sushi restaurant which turned out to be a pleasant surprise. We didn't have particular expectations, considering it's a small town, but we were impressed by the quality of the food and the hospitality of the staff. The menu is varied and well-structured, with dishes ranging from classic rolls to more original proposals, all prepared with the freshest ingredients and a care that you wouldn't expect to find in such an out-of-the-way place. Every bite was an explosion of flavours, and you could see that the sushi chef knows his stuff: not only for the technique, but also for the attention to detail and the presentation of the dishes, which were a real feast for the eyes. The service was impeccable: the staff was friendly and helpful, making us feel at ease straight away. They also took care of the children, which we really appreciated. The place is welcoming, with a relaxed atmosphere that makes the experience even more pleasant. In conclusion, we didn't expect to find sushi of this level in Codigoro, and instead we had to think again. If you are in the area and want an excellent sushi dinner, it is absolutely worth making a stop here.
