21/05/2026: Truly a wonderful place, I've never stayed in such a beautiful property. Huge. Kudos to everyone who makes it so special! I hope to return.
07/05/2026: Night. It's pouring rain, but it's warm here. I open the window. A reckless move. Here she comes. The most ferocious and hungry mosquito in all of Campania. I try everything I can to fight it off. To no avail.
At half past midnight, exhausted, I call the front desk dejectedly, asking if they have a Vape stove. Mr. Pino tells me they don't have one, but comes to my room anyway. I grab his spray first, and he starts spraying everywhere. In his cheerful, discreet, kind, and warm way, he wishes me a good night's sleep. And if I get any rest, I owe it to Mr. Pino. THANK YOU, PINO. Because nothing is owed, especially not in the middle of the night.
Then there's Lidia, delightful and gentle, who hosts me in a splendid room where my PC finds its perfect connection. And there's also Emilio, courteous and gallant, who glosses over my sixty years and calls me "new strength, new colleague," and it's all a VERY HUMAN smile, a feeling a little at home, and then Anna smells my Fracas in the air, and we say goodbye while talking about tuberoses.
THANK YOU PINO, ANNA, LIDIA, EMILIO, THANK YOU for making my stay with you and WITH you delightfully comfortable and human.
The ARISTON HOTEL can be proud of its staff. Because there I found the greatest value.
