Da Sasa In Salerno

We went here on recommendation from our BnB owner. Given the rave reviews, our expectations were not fully met. Pros: - It’s evident the fish is really high quality and super fresh - the grilled octopus and peppered mussels were really good. - The price is very reasonable for the quality of seafood. Cons: - only online/QR code menu available, the English version of which was not updated. The online menu’s interface felt hard to read and is written unclearly. It also incorporates emojis in place of some words (i.e. “salad”) which seems mismatched given the restaurant’s vibe. - compared to our other dining experiences in Salerno, the service here wasn’t as warm or accommodating as we had encountered previously. It wasn’t bad, but it felt like something was missing. We felt a little rushed ordering and our server didn’t know how to answer our questions about the wine list or certain menu items. -while we enjoyed our dinner, we didn’t think all of the dishes lived up to our expectations based on the reviews. Overall, it was a good meal for price/quality but we enjoyed other dining experiences in Salerno more.

⸻ Very welcoming restaurant, with really excellent food and very fresh fish. The staff is friendly and always smiling. From the starter to the dessert, everything was impeccable: I left wanting to continue eating. Highly recommended!

On a few occasions I have entered this restaurant for lunch with my relatives and my partner, I can say that the quality/price ratio is worth stopping by.

Excellent fish restaurant (fresh) cooked very well. I recommend the Sasa' starter, excellent, the first courses excellent, the fried food excellent.. Excellent value for money... Friendly and fast staff.... I recommend it if you pass through Salerno...

Cena in famiglia, siamo stati molto bene, tanto da tornare anche il giorno dopo. A parte il cibo ottimo e i prezzi giusti, ci ha colpito positivamente l'attenzione ai clienti, la gentilezza e la professionalità del personale. Pur avendo il locale pieno di clienti tutto è stato veloce e preciso. Bravi.

Superlativo …anche di domenica nonostante il pienone…non comprendo le recensioni prima negative…evidentemente gente invidiosa …cordialità gusto e tutto al top 🔝 oggi mi ha stupito il primo che allego foto ai gamberi cotti e crudi…
