Entering and meeting Massimo and Gianluca Begioni, owners of this place, was an exciting experience, in addition to good food or pizza, you find yourself delving into Massimo's naive and art brut art, of which the walls are full. And in the story expertly narrated by Giancarlo, with anecdotes and a healthy dose of frankness and sympathy. Highly recommended place.

After a tiring camper crossing from Tarquinia, we arrived in Berceto around 9.30 in the evening looking forward to a nice dinner. We asked to be able to have dinner at the restaurants in the town who rejected us with the excuse that the kitchen was now closed..... We were now despairing of being able to have dinner but by asking "Da Romano" we were welcomed with courtesy and friendliness and we were able to eat an excellent pizza with porcini mushrooms accompanied by a nice blonde beer, concluding the dinner with a pleasant panna cotta with berries. We will definitely return both for the quality of the food and for the welcoming and friendly atmosphere.

Quick dinner in this historic restaurant in the town.
Old fashioned furnished with attentive and caring staff.
Famous for its pizzas (the wait was long), but also for its local cuisine.
In the absence of mushrooms, a specialty of the kitchen, we ordered a fried salami and tagliatelle with white salami ragù.
Good quality/price ratio.
We will try again for dishes with mushrooms.

Arredato vecchio stile con personale attento e premuroso.
Famoso per le pizze (l'attesaera lunga), ma anche per la cucina del territorio.
In mancanza di funghi, specialità della cucina, abbiamo ordinato un salamino fritto e tagliatelle al ragù bianco di salame.
Rapporto qualità/prezzo buono.
Ritenteremo per piatti coi funghi.

Ci siamo capitati per caso uscendo dall'autostrada per via dei lavori in corso. Abbiamo ricevuto un'ottima accoglienza accompagnata da tagliatelle e ravioli fatti in casa, prosciutto crudo speciale, funghi porcini ottimi e polenta con capriolo da ricordare. Molto simpatico il proprietario.
