23/02/2025: After an excursion to Corviano, we decided to have lunch here. Never a more appropriate choice!!!! The only thing we didn't skip were the appetizers.... first courses: divine... the carbonara with truffle is highly recommended (the bacon was divine!!!) Not to mention the parmigiana... heavenly... artichokes alla giudia, score 10. We closed with the tiramisu... what can I say, a more than successful experience. Prices? In the norm. Very nice style location

22/02/2025: I had the pleasure of having lunch at "la taverna dei frati" in Soriano and I was very satisfied. The restaurant offers a welcoming and familiar atmosphere, with attentive and courteous service, very kind waiters, especially the friendly Costanza. The menu offers a wide choice of typical local dishes, prepared with fresh, quality ingredients. As for the first courses, considering that there were five of us, I tasted more than one (truffle carbonara, gnocchi with scampi cream, porcini mushroom lasagna...) and they were really delicious, with genuine and well-balanced flavours. As a second course we had a mixture of meat and fish, I must say that they were cooked to perfection. Local flavors prevail, you can see that it is a cuisine with tradition and commitment, which chef Marina manages with experience. For dinner, in addition to the typical menu, they also offer Pinsa. The restaurant is well looked after and characteristic, it has a relaxing environment, perfect for a family dinner or a romantic evening, in fact it has rooms on balconies, very intimate and nice. Furthermore, the selection of wines is excellent, with proposals that pair perfectly with the dishes, not to mention the homemade liqueurs, we chose the laurel and mandarin flavours, which are extraordinary. I highly recommend trying it, especially for those looking for authentic cuisine and a nice gastronomic journey in Soriano... we will be back.
