A historic restaurant in the Legnaro hinterland in the province of Padua. The food is good and the prices are fair. The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant is rustic but a bit dated. There's plenty of parking. Worth a try.
UPDATE
The prices have changed; the lunch menu now costs €15, up from €12.50 before. Sure, everything has gone up, but considering the number of people they serve, it seems like a drastic increase. The food is still good, though.

Last weekend, while in Padua, I came for dinner here with some friends who already knew this restaurant. We had a second course of bigoli and tagliatelle, both very good, although I probably preferred the bigoli itself. Then we had gnocchi with ragù, also phenomenal. Next up was a mixed horse meat appetizer, good even though I'm not much of a cold cut fan. Then came a horse meat stew with polenta, good, but I don't know. The flavor here was more intense than the pasta ragù, but I know that's because of the horse meat, which, however, was a bit more covered in the pasta. I also tried the straeca, a grilled slice of horse meat, and it was tender and delicious, but still had a strong flavor. Very reasonable prices, €28 per person, including water and wine.

A historic trattoria in Padua, in the Saonara area. Specializing in horse meat, it offers simple cuisine at reasonable prices.
I highly recommend the famous Straeca di cavallo, a typical local dish.

I was invited by some friends and was pleasantly surprised... we ordered a house appetizer, two first courses (gnocchi and bigoli with ragù and horse meat strips), and then mixed grills (salami, fillet, steak), side dishes, dessert, and water. Everything was very good. The service was quick and friendly. The bill wasn't exactly cheap, but it was reasonable; we ate a lot, including a lot of meat, so the price was also good. If you're a carnivore and are passing by, stop by; you won't be disappointed. I'll definitely be back.

Saturday evening...
I arrived at 7:45 PM without a reservation and was greeted courteously. They offered me a timed dinner.
That is, a table for two, to be vacated by 9:00 PM.
Spacious space, well-arranged tables.
Neo... when crowded, the decibels rise exponentially.
Tasty dishes, soft and succulent.

Graduation lunch for about ten people, including a first course, second course, dessert, and coffee. Excellent food, reasonable prices, and quick turnaround despite the restaurant being packed.
