The place has remained in the 80s and would need a bit of renovation. The service is very slow. The fried courgette flower is the only thing I liked. The pizza and desserts are nothing special.

Even though we hadn't booked, the friendly and quick staff seated us in less than 10 minutes.... Excellent fried food, pizza and price.... what more could you ask for...???? Compliments

The service was good, courteous and helpful despite the general confusion of the room. We waited a little for the dishes but there were really a lot of people. Regarding the food, the bruschetta and carbonara were good, the steak a little less so as it arrived cold, so it was hard to eat. The pizza with prawns and courgettes... it's the first time we've found grilled courgettes... we probably hadn't read the menu well otherwise we would have chosen something else. Next time we will try different dishes.

Realmente disfrutamos de la pizza. Nos alojamos en un lugar cercano y seguimos volviendo por esa buena scrochiorella. Puedes sentarte o llevarte. Personal amable

Pizza e fritti molto buoni, frequentato da molte (troppe) persone con cani di taglia media e grande che non si curano dei vicini. Giardino molto bello, tempi di attesa per cenare ineguagliabili, quasi biblici, anche solo per una pizza ti devi chiamare Giobbe! Peccato, perché il rapporto qualità/prezzo è davvero molto buona.

28/02/2025: I found it while walking around town and went in. I had two types of pasta and saltimbocca. The customer service was friendly and there was a nice cafeteria-like atmosphere, and the food was gentle and delicious. Also, the price was reasonable and excellent. I'll visit you again!
26/02/2025: We often come to this restaurant, because we eat the best amatriciana in Rome. Simone, the owner, is always available, excellent quality, price, everything is special, welcoming and characteristic.

25/02/2025: Had dinner for 4 on Sunday evening, typical traditional dishes...very good, the guy who served us, prepared, brilliant and friendly, well done!! Excellent value for money!! Definitely to return!
23/02/2025: Notes on the restaurant which evidently applies different weights and measures depending on the clientele (known or not). 1) when booking we anticipated that we wanted to eat the famous cockerel and asked to reserve it. We were told curtly "we are not a delicatessen, you order it upon arrival and it will be ready in 30 minutes". Upon arrival we ordered it immediately and...we were told that unfortunately the cockerels were out of stock; 2) we ordered 4 artichokes both Roman style and Giudia style. 4 small artichokes have arrived. We were surprised but didn't say anything. After a few minutes we see enormous Roman artichokes being served at the table next to us and in another room...a coincidence? Maybe, but we ate an "artichoke" and still paid the price of the entire portion; 3) ordered linguine with anchovies and pecorino: a plate of linguine with tomato and pecorino arrived. Anchovies completely absent in consistency and flavour. Very bad. Note of merit to the apple pie and the waiter Angelo, friendly and courteous. But frankly for 500 years of history it's not enough.
