Ristorantino carino e tranquillo situato a pochi chilometri da Cefalù, abbiamo pranzato in un tranquillo e soleggiato sabato di novembre dopo aver visitato la splendida Cefalù . C'è possibilità di scegliere menù di carne o di pesce, noi abbiamo optato per quello di pesce ad eccezione della bambina che ha preso la classica cotoletta di pollo con patatine, davvero ottima la pasta di pesce spada, melanzane e gamberi. Gentilissimi i proprietari!

In a quaint little corner of Cefalu, Laskari is a quiet commune with a beautiful sea. Here I sat in this family restaurant run by a delightful couple, Salvo and Dea and the feeling of home is immediately felt with every plate and they were all so delicious. The caponata was as the Sicilians dreamed it to be, so flavourful followed by the fresh sea salad which was put together from the freshest ingredients. As a main dish, the Orata was prepared to perfection. As I left I began to gather why so many past empires loved to fight for the pleasure of making this their home and in so doing how they gifted those future ancestors with all their different ways of crafting such amazing dishes. So what you eat here, is a melange of all those cultures culminating in a most satisfying and unique dining experience. Sicily is an amazing environment for all occasions.
