First pass didn't convince me, service a little rough, spaghetti poorly seasoned and excessively al dente, good pizza but not the one ordered. Unfavorable quality/price ratio. Will definitely give it another chance

At Peppino's in winter you eat inside the restaurant, in good weather you enter from the back to eat outside, outdoors and in the cool air. The restaurant needs to be spruced up, the internal environment is old and not recommended for business lunches or romantic dinners. The outdoor area is accessible to disabled people and people with walking difficulties, while the restaurant is accessed via a staircase and I don't know if there are accessible entrances. Over time, the opening of a "combed" restaurant right next door stole the clientele most inclined to appearance. The table service is "sincere", very basic but practical. Why go and eat at Da Peppino, then? Because pizza is the true strength of this business, unbeatable. Thin, crunchy, very light, digestible and well seasoned. Anyone who appreciates excellent pizza comes back here (often).

Da Peppino in inverno si mangia all'interno del ristorante, con la bella stagione entrate dal retro per mangiare nel dehor, all'aperto e al fresco. Il ristorante avrebbe necessità di essere sistemato, l'ambiente è vetusto e non consigliato per pranzi di lavoro o cene romantiche. Nel tempo, purtroppo, l'apertura di un ristorante "pettinato" proprio a fianco ha rubato la clientela più propensa all'apparenza. Il servizio ai tavoli è "sincero", molto spartano ma pratico. Perché andare a mangiare Da Peppino, allora? Perchè la pizza è la vera forza di questa attività, imbattibile. Sottile, croccante, leggerissima, digeribile e ben condita. Chi apprezza un'ottima pizza, qui ci ritorna (spesso).

Old style pizzeria overlooking Via Emilia. At the back they have an outdoor area which houses both the tables and the pizza oven. There are also various fish-based dishes, I tried the aquarium starter and I must say that it is rich and has an excellent flavour. The pizzas are made with a classic dough and convince!
